Heats up quickly, is small enough to get into those small places and is very light. Easy to use. Unfortunately, it only comes with one pad so had to order more.

Improved floor steamer!
Since I had a shark for about 10 years, I was already aware of the durability. When someone in my household misused the shark, it stopped working. I knew immediately to look for another shark floor steamer. My husband told me he thinks it is improved! Great Steamer! .

Great mop when it works
I've owned two of these mops. The first lasted 6 months before it stopped heating the water and pumping it through to the mop head. While it worked it worked very well. I suspected I just got "a lemon" and purchased another one. That is the current one I own now. I've had it for about 5 years. I don't use it constantly, but maybe 2-3 times per month. This second mop is now not working. Same problem, won't heat or pump the hot water to the mop head. So these mops work very well, but DO NOT last very long. I won't be purchasing again.

Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, I like everything about it. My only concern would have a bigger water tank as I had to refill it a few few times to do my floor, but that really is not a big deal. Plus, I have to order more pads since it only comes two but also not a big deal.

Cheaply made, poor quality
Received this new model about a week ago. I was very disappointed as soon as I began to unpack it. Cheap plastic; not anywhere near the quality of my last 2 steam mops. I will use it until it breaks or stops working which I am guessing will be much sooner than my previous two.

Almost perfect
Bought this as an upgrade to the old Shark steamer. I love the new feature of the water reservoir because it makes it much easier to fill. I love the change to the velcro pad because the old pads got to where they would not velcro shut after a few washings. The only drawback to this model is that the cord is not as long as the old model. Don't know why you would shorten the cord. Aside from the shorter cord we love it.

Love it I originally bought a different one but didn’t like how it worked so I gave it to my daughter she loves it I’m kind of old fashion. While I was looking for something Padless I realized they’re more my style. I love the older model “ Shark Steam Pocket ” but they were out of them at the time of purchase. So the Shark SteamSpot Steam Mop with Steam Blaster was. My second option. I must say it works pretty good.

Great Cleaning
Utilized on three surfaces with the 3 different settings. Sealed hardwood floors, bathroom tile and linoleum. Worked great and removed a lot of dirt. Floors are vacuum and mopped routinely but the steam mop allowed for better cleaning.

Modern and lightweight!
With 4 kids and 2 wild cats who love to leave me presents this Shark SteamSpot steam mop has been a miracle for my house. With baby crawling and walking everywhere, this was super easy to get started and use right away. I love how lightweight overall the steam mop is. XL removable water tank that fills 16.9 fl oz of water (or 500ml). I love that its chemical free and just use water! Comes with 2 washable pads that doesn't get ruined after several washes. Very simple to stick them on and steam away the dirty floor. I've tried this on varies of floors, from tiles to hardwood to laminate. Works excellent on all! Too bad it doesn't steam the carpets hah. This steam mop has 3 modes for steaming, I tend to use maximum level and it does a fantastic job. I love how it lasts to cover my entire kitchen, living room and laundry room plus halls before I need to add more water! That's a lot, with the fact I have a spacious home with lots of space. If you press the handle, it releases more steam for extra spot on cleaning! I can't believe I didn't have this steam mop sooner! All those vacuums I've ever owned didn't do it's justice comparing to this product. Love steaming as it kills those germs. One way I'd improve this product is having the cord being a retractable cord for easier to manage cord. The cord itself is long and there are hooks to wrap it around when cleaning or putting it away but I think a retractable cord would be a better design.

Disappointed — Broke After Only Three Years with L
I’m really disappointed with this Shark steam mop. I’ve had it S3973 for only about three years, and I use it very lightly — maybe once or twice a month. Despite that, it suddenly stopped working properly. The steam now leaks from the top where the water tank connects to the mop body, and almost no steam comes out from the mop head. I expected a Shark product to last much longer, especially with such minimal use. It’s frustrating to see it fail so soon. Definitely not worth the price for the quality and durability.

Best little steam mop in Texas
I love this steam mop it is so light and easy to use it makes doing the floors a breeze. I've also used it in places like the shower on the tiles and it worked its magic in there as well. I do not think they were intended for that purpose, but it works. This is my second steam mop from shark. My first one was many years ago and I used it till it stopped but, I figure after 14 years I got my money's worth out of it and got a new one. The only thing I would change is make the cord longer.

I love this steam mop’
I ordered my stem mop last month and I’m obsessed with it, I have three little ones and a large dog and this has been a total lifesaver. It heats up instantly and I’m able to mop my entire house in no time. I really appreciate the steam blaster, it’s actually gotten rid of stains that I thought were permanent on my tile floors. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned other steam mops previously and was never impressed - the included pads were never durable or capable of scrubbing, the steam wasn't consistent, it didn't clean any better than a normal mop, etc. Shark's version however? My mind is BLOWN. Decided to give it a try on my bathroom floors that are forever sticky with hair product and makeup. I gave it a quick vacuum and fired up the SteamSpot and the floor was SPOTLESS in a matter of minutes. The blast of steam I can direct where I please is a game changer and not only removed every bit of dirt and residue, but it gave a truly clean/nearly sanitized feeling. I'm in love

My forever floor cleaner!
I just purchased the Shark Steamer 1000. After years of sitting on my floor on a towel and scooting with my bucket of water, vinegar and a couple drips of Dawn, decided at age 79 i couldn't do that any more. Tried a ?Libman? Mop but excess water remained after wringing it out and still had to towel dry. This Shark product was affirdable, easy to you and did the job exactly as I was seeking with one step. Perfect weight, only water, just enough steam to lift the dirt and clean and minimal moistness to dry without manual drying and best of all NO STREAKING OR RESIDILUAL WATER SPOTS. Thank you Shark.
