This Shark Steam Mop is a true workhorse. I have owned it for at least 3 years now and it still works just as well as the day I bought it. My hardwood floors look so clean and shiny after a steam session. Truly a well made mop. Highly recommend

Great buy
Heats fast and cleans great. Vacuum first and use distilled water to avoid mineral buildup. It will last much longer too. To sanitize it needs the heat a few minutes. You can use any cleaner on floor to get better results in no time. Do not put anything in tank but water. Great buy.

A Great Solution for My Floor
I have heavily-textured sheet vinyl flooring, faux terracotta tile, which takes a lot of work to make truly clean. I had never heard of a steam mop till I saw the Target deal of the day and looked more closely at it. It looked very promising, so decided to give it a try, and have not been disappointed. What a difference it makes! The mopping action in itself produces the steam, but pumping produces more if you need to concentrate on a particular spot. So much better than getting on hands and knees with a scrub brush. Yes, it requires a little more time than gliding over with a sponge mop, but the results are great. I have had no issues with the product at all. Read the instructions! Some of the reviews I've read would indicate that the customers didn't do so.

Don't Bother - Malfunctions Immediately
Started leaving a LOT of water on the floor (almost like a regular wet mop instead of a steam mop) after owning for less than 2 weeks! We had the previous version of this mop and it would break down every 12-18 months and need a replacement. At this point, we are done with Shark steam mops bc they simply breakdown too often. The website troubleshooting is useless as well and claims that if the water dries within 10 minutes the machine is fine. Um, if it’s only steam it shouldn’t need 10 minutes to dry. Apparently leaving behind a trail of water is fine with the manufacturer. This is not ideal for a STEAM mop

Was already used
I recieved this as a gift and it was used with dirty cloths and no manual. Other reviews say this as well. Target won't do anything without the receipt because it is over their return limit. Don't purchase without checking. Really disappointed in shark and target.

I have had two other shark steam mops that I have loved but I do not like this one! It’s doesn’t produce steam as consistently as the others and it does move over the floor as smoothly either. It is a poor design.

Beware of shipping it might get lost like mine
ordered this a week ago on sale. I have a dozen notifications from FedEx that shows it will ship then doesnt and goes back to arrived at the facility. No one is resolving this between Target and FedEx. If my item ever arrives I will change my review. Both companies have been awful to work with for customer support.

Little Steam on this Shark Steam Mop
The steam isn't what I expected because of the advertising. It's less. I'll keep it because I don't have much floor area, however, I'm glad I got it on sale. If I had paid full price, I would have returned it. The water tank runs out fast because you have to go over the same area many times. I have to fill it 3 times, and like I said, I don't have a lot of floor area to mop.
