Instead, it uses a manual steam activation system, meaning you have to pump the handle back and forth while mopping to release steam. Q: What do you consider to be aa "hard" floor? I have a vinyl that is semi soft/firm. And should I avoid ANY seams in the vinyl? If so then it's useless to me.

A: The Steam Pocket Mop works on most hard floors, but we recommend testing a small area first and reviewing your floor manufacturer’s care instructions. Avoid using it on wax-polished furniture or floors, unsealed or unglazed ceramic, unsealed wood, wax floors, and some no-wax floors, as heat or steam may remove the sheen. Always test an isolated spot before cleaning the entire surface.

Trash worst product
This is literally the biggest waste of money in my home. Very upset it’s probably going in the garbage. I wish I would’ve went with a different product because this one doesn’t make sense. U can’t use cleaner inside. Can only fit a couple cups of water and doesn’t work well. Doesn’t clean anything just takes up space and wastes more of my time. Thanks for taking my money

SIMPLY THE BEST
I’ve owned this mop before, wandered off for a “fancier” Bissell with all the bells and whistles… and came crawling back. The Bissell looked cool until I actually used it.. just extra stuff trying to seem high-tech. The Shark? Simple, powerful, and gets the job done without overcomplicating life. What I love most is the pump action.. it gives you control, and the steam comes up almost instantly. My floors go from dull to spotless in minutes. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and honestly kind of satisfying to use. No buttons, no weird digital settings .. just plug it in and go I’ve seen people complain about the lack of variable steam or the small water tank, but honestly, that’s part of why it’s great. It’s consistent, quick to heat, and doesn’t feel like a workout dragging it around. I can clean my kitchen and hallway on one tank, and the floors dry super fast. If I had to nitpick, I wish the water cap was a little bigger and the cord wrap less awkward.. but that’s soo minor. Overall, this mop is a no-drama, no-regret buy. I’ve learned my lesson: sometimes simple is smarter.

Get a Real Mop
Purchased this hoping it would work better than its older model. Nope. Equally a waste of $ offering little to no steam. This saves no time or money. You’re better off getting a real mop, with chemicals and putting the work in because this product is honestly a waste of money, time space, production efforts…you name it. Skip this product and get a real mop and other sanitizing products.

I could not be more disappointed in this steamer. Barely got the floor wet, did an entire kitchen floor, that I know was dirty as my prior mop had broken, and the pads were hardly dirty. Not much steam.

stress inducing
This thing sucked so bad it was actually upsetting me… There was barely any steam coming out and it was streaky on the floor. I was pushing so hard my hands are tired. Also the cord is short, so I had to plug it into 3 different outlets just to do my living room.

I've used the washing machine to clean the pads. It does pull in a lot of dirt after jsut a few mins of sweeping across the floor. It is sort of hard to push around so would be hard to cover large areas
