[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the coolest interactive toys I've ever seen. My 8 and 6 year old absolutely adore this. It was a mystery on which dragon we would hatch. The experience of hatching the egg had the entire family circled around it watching in awe. You have to interact with the egg to put it into hatching mode and then set it down and watch the fun. I couldn't believe how realistic it was circling around inside the egg pecking away all around in different locations until being able to reveal themselves. We hatched the fire dragon and the sizzling sound and red light when he hatched really added to the experience. He's adorable, soft, durable and even tho he's more of a "toy" and not stuffed animal, my daughter loves to snuggle him. The fun didn't stop there. The egg has interactive features even after he hatches. This cute little guy has so many modes to play with. From dancing to flying to feeding him and more! If you overfeed him, his stomach turns green and there's 3 options on making him better. That is my sons favorite part. My daughters favorite is when he plays music and dances along with her. There's so much this toy can do and my kids enjoy him so much. This is definitely one of the top toys I recommend!

She collects almost all the small ones that come from the small eggs that you rub and make it cracked. Now she's 8 years old, and I thought the big Hatchimal Alive interactive pet would make her excited all over again! And boy! This interactive hatchimal is phenomenal! Basically, it will slowly crack little by little like how normal eggs are supposed to do, and then you can help to crack it too (it's very satisfying) and the baby Hatchimal Alive will sing a happy birthday song! Not only my 8 years old amazed with it but her 1 year old little sister also! It The packaging is very nice and it's very big size, very good for birthday present gift. I really recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this product in exchange for my honest review so here it is. My son helped me with this one since he is the toy player. Overall, it’s a pretty cute toy. The hatching took forever. I don’t think most kids would have the attention span to patiently wait for it to hatch. Once it hatched, my son had a fun time teaching it how to burp. It can learn quite a few things which is decently impressive. The instructions could be better. I don’t know why they felt the need to include the mist, but it stunk. It definitely took more chemicals than I wanted in my bedroom to produce that. The lights and sounds are cool. It’s amusing that it sings happy birthday to itself. My son hasn’t played with it a ton after the hatching which is unfortunate. Because of that, I’m glad I didn’t buy it. It would be great for a kid that is a little more maternal. Overall, it’s a pretty cool interactive toy.

You can teach it to talk, it will dance with you and say I love you just to name a few things. It makes cute little noises and is a lot of fun to play with!

I hatched this egg with our kids and it turned out to be a draggle which was perfect for my son! Hatching the egg was the most fun part, you have to interact with the toy to get it to hatch. My kids had so much fun talking, petting and rubbing the egg to get him to hatch. This version is updated so it hatched it a timely manner and no one got bored, this version also has smoke and lights added so it was super cool. It also has hatching noises so that was an awesome added effect. The plush has more than 100 reactions and sounds so it’s not just one of those useless surprise toys. It’s really cute and soft too. It’s a well crafted toy and inexpensive for the amount of fun and details the company put into it. You won’t be disappointed in this new 2024 version of the hatchimal! This will be the it toy for christmas so get your hands on it while you can!

It lights up, makes noises, had smoke coming out of it, and really hatched. The dragon thing inside is pretty cool. You can teach it to say things. It reminds me of a furby. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girls loved opening the Hatchimals Alive Interactive Electronic Pet! It was pretty easy to figure out, but be sure you follow the opening instructions on the packaging for the most fun! The whole opening process took about 5-10 minutes and we loved the mystery of finding out which Draggle pet we would receive inside our egg! We ended up receiving Splash, the water Draggle, which was the one my daughter's were hoping for, so it was even more exciting! During the egg hatching process, there were lots of colorful lights, movements, "smoke", and even sounds that could clue you into which Draggle you may receive. We definitely heard some splashing sounds! It was all lots of fun! You have to follow the instructions and rock, tap, and even gently bounce your egg until it's ready to hatch. The hatching process was so thrilling as our Draggle really cracked through the shell! Once it broke completely through, we could remove it. The Draggle also has several interactive play features, can sing, move and even repeat your voice, too! It's entertaining, but can be a little boring after a while and the sound is on the loud side and cannot be turned down. I do appreciate that the toy can be turned off.

The toy itself seems pretty sturdy and fun to play with. It reacts to certain touches and you can teach it to talk.

To hatch you must tap, cuddle, rock, and lift until it plays continuous music when it's ready to hatch! Once it starts to hatch it even blows "smoke" out of the egg and it breaks its way out of the egg much like any real hatchling does. Once it's hatched the bottom of the egg remains as its nest and it's got lights and sounds. You can kiss it, tickle it, hug it, teach it to talk... It's just all around a very unique and amazing toy!

The entertainment value is way beyond my expectations! It is such an adorable ‘pet’! The ‘hatching’ process had the entire family enthralled! It can also repeat what you say. It is such an interactive and entertaining toy for a kid. Battery is long-lasting , and durability is top-notch.

The entire “hatching” process of the mystery Draggle is so hands on, engaging and entertaining! The suspense and anticipation builds up as your child anxiously cuddles, rocks, taps and lifts the egg over and over again until the egg goes lights up from the bright blue to a beautiful rainbow hue then proceeds to release a fairytale-like mist as it starts hatching its iridescent shell all on its own! It chirps, grunts and wiggles around in eagerness to free itself in all its dragon baby cuteness! My son had the best time witnessing and engaging in the complete hatching process, it was a joy to watch him so immersed in this magical and exciting new toy! My son will be playing with this for hours on end, it lights up, it sings the cutest little songs, you can also teach it to talk, dance and more, in total he has over a 100 sounds and reactions. My son is happy to call “Splash” the Draggle his new best friend!

It was already put together when you take it out of the box so it’s super easy to just begin to use. It’s super cool and lights up and makes sounds once your egg is ready to hatch. Once it hatches you’re able to basically train it and it sings songs, talks, and dances. You can get two different kinds which are Fire and Water. My daughter got the Fire and that’s perfect for her because she’s definitely more like that as a person! We love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is a small adventure in a box. The amount of packing/unpacking and work that goes into it is crazy. The hatching process did take a good amount of time and entertained my kids (5 yrs & 2yrs) for a good 15-20 minutes. Once that process is over this is a glorified Furbee toy from back in the day.
