Q: Is this frequently used as a pie crust? I am looking to make a pie and if this works I might have to make a few pies.

A: Sweet Loren’s makes a pie crust. Pie crust and puff pastry are completely different in texture and thickness. I personally would not use puff pastry crust for pie crust. It would alter the taste of your pie as well.

A: At this time, our Puff Pastry is not Certified Kosher. With that being said, third party certifications are extremely important to us to make sure you know our claims surrounding Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Vegan, Kosher, and more are verified and validated. That being said, they do take quite some time to become official and ready for packaging. For our new products, we’re working on our typical certifications that our other products have always had and will update packaging when ready. That was an optional one on the package. They baked at the desired time and had overall good flavor, but they were rather hard on the outside and a bit chewy..

I followed a recipe they put on their instagram and it turned out amazing. The dough is so flaky and delicious. I will say we let it sit on the counter for about ten minutes before rolling it out and it made a difference! Will be buying again

Flavor and texture wise, was okay I wouldn’t say it is THE BEST but it’s okay for a quick dessert, I wouldn’t say rate 3 out of 5 stars. My main issue was texture wise it was very chewy/sticky and when I think of puff pastry I think of crispy fluffy texture

I can't have dairy, so when this came out as dairy free from Sweet Loren's, I knew i had to try it. I ended up making pizza rolls with it, and I was extremely impressed by how delicious they turned out! Now, with this new package, I am going to be looking for a dessert to be making with it!!

You can’t tell the difference from regular puff pastry it tasted fresh and had the texture of a regular puff pastry. I made danishes with mine but you can definitely use it for some many different things

It has a soft texture and is very easy to cut and make any design. On the other hand, I wasn't too pleased that it released so much fat after cooking. It comes very well sealed and packaged, and you can use the same wrapping paper for baking. Lastly, the price is a bit high compared to other brands, but for a good product, it's worth it.
