Very tasty and meaty tuna

I'm currently on a major fishwife kick and this is the first of their tuna varieties I have tried. Just like anything from fishwife, it's a small and pricy tin but also a luxurious treat on an afternoon off. I paired mine with crackers, Grillo's hot pickle spears, and a bit of Calabrian chile pepper spread and it was a heavenly little lunch! I would gladly use this tuna in a simple pasta dish too. Is fishwife worth the cost?? To use daily or slap in a tuna casserole, perhaps not...but if you like to treat yourself to nice foods sometimes, I do think it's worth it. I stocked up when fishwife was on sale right after Christmas and will definitely be keeping an eye out for when target puts them on sale👀

This tuna is so delicious! It has a mild heat, but tons of flavor. The can is a little smaller than a regular can, but it’s the perfect portion for me. I put it into a small bowl (oil and all) and mix with kewpie Mayo and shredded cabbage. Top some crackers with that and it’s a perfect, filling snack. I don’t think I can go back to regular bland tuna after having this.
