[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the packaging, could do without the smell, but that’s what I get for buying sardines. Got these to introduce my youngest to fish and it was a hit among everyone in the fam except me, who could have dealt without the smell. If youre not familiar with sardines, they have skin and scales and bones which is a surprise if you’re expecting mashed tuna. They definitely are less pungent than other sardine brands so that’s a win. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These sardines are absolutely delicious! We are big big fans of the Fishwife brand and loved trying this fish and flavor profile. The tin was a nice treat with a spritz of extra, fresh lemon on top and accompanied by crackers. This definitely didn’t last long in our household and we will be buying our next Fishwife haul very soon. Love that they’re carried at Target, and shipped so fast, too! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There’re some chunky whole sardine fillets in there. Good quality for the cut. The lemon flavor is interesting but still, sardines has its own flavor. If you love sardines this is a nice one to add. I mean it’s still very sardine-y if that makes sense. Tried it out of curiosity. Would love to see if they make a spicy version of them probably will help with the fishy ness. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this! Not fishy at all, the lemon flavor was stronger than I thought it would be but not overpowering. Fish was good quality. I had a little bit of trouble opening the tin, but I think that's typical for sardines. I will definitely be buying this again, but might try the other flavors. The Spanish olive oil tastes high quality and has great flavor as well. The lemon flavor is subtle yet very noticeable. The citrus is a nice contrast to the fishy flavor of sardines. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fishwife sardines in preserved lemon met my expectations after reading that they are wild caught in Atlantic when they are at peak quality then hand packed with nothing but fresh ingredients. They weren’t completely doused in oil and taste was mild and not too salty at all as some canned fish are. The lemon preservative also helps balance the taste as well and is not too fishy of a taste. They’re packed whole and easily flaked onto your dish. Tried a couple preparations. One snack idea mixed with cream cheese, paprika and minced onions spread over a toasted pandesal roll garnished with spinach and tomato. It was a nice quick snack and the taste was not overpowering. Then prepared a quick light healthy dinner option over a bed of rice sushi style with a dash of fish sauce and a side of chop suet vegetables. It’s pretty versatile for whipping up a snack or meal last minute. I received an incentive to write this review.

My parents and I tried it on a fresh baguette and I was hesitant at first worried that it would be too lemony, but I was wrong! It was the perfect amount of preserved lemon flavor. The fish was moist and delicate. My parents could not stop raving about how good it was and they have tried a lot of tinned fish. The olive oil was not pungent and the ingredients were quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] first impression this fish is packaged in a way that draws you eye though i was somewhat surprise that the tin was not similarly decorated. no matter the fish inside was immediately recognizable as bigger and of a vastly different quality than cheaper ones I would usually buy. The preserved lemon flavor is subtle but present and paired well with the caesar salad I had for lunch. A bit pricier but worth it for a splurge here and there. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best canned fish I have tried before. You can tell that it is high quality by the texture. It is not mushy. I'm not usually a fan of fish packed in oil and I still didn't like that about this one. To its benefit though, the olive oil it was packed in tasted fresh and not stale at all. There are actually lemon pieces in the can with the fish. The lemon flavor is tasty without being overpowering. I really love all of the products from this brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really loved these sardines! They tasted so fresh and not overly strong. I could eat these right out of the tin which is not usually the case for me. The lemon flavor was very subtle. I used these to make a simple lemon pasta with capers and they tasted great in it. The texture is firm but flakes nicely. My kids all loved them as well. The only thing I don’t like is the price point so this will likely be an occasional treat or something I’d purchase when it is on sale. I received an incentive to write this review.
