  • A: Yes, they'll work on hair that long! Jumbo Flexi Rods suit all hair types and lengths for loose curls or relaxed waves. This 4pk only has 4 rods though, so with waist-length hair you'll be sectioning into larger chunks, giving fewer, broader curls rather than tight definition throughout. For more even curl definition root to end, grab a second 4pk so you can work with smaller sections.

    I don't recommend

    immediate return, do not buy the satin rods. i can’t even roll my hair around them because they are soooo slippery. They fall off right away, I tried to do overnight heatless curls they came off in my sleep. They need to have the velvet version ones in store.

    Do not buy, worst target purchace ever

    These satin rods are the worst thing you could buy. Doesn’t stay in your hair at all and even if it happens to stay, by the time you put your next rod in the first one would already be falling out. Do not buy these satin flexi rods, it will be a purchase you’ll regret.

    don't bother

    these sound good in theory, but I cannot get them to stay in my hair. they just slip right out. I have now watched over 45 videos trying different methods and none of them work. I have long hair down to about the middle of my back, so I have plenty of hair to wrap. the satin fabric is just not ideal. I wish I could return this product. only other hack I've read is to put a sock over it to increase the grip....so might as well have just bought socks to do the other heatless curl methods I have seen. don't waste your money.

    So difficult to work with

    Im not sure what witchcraft is necessary to make these work. I have watched multiple videos, read reddit posts, etc. Tried multiple times with various techniques; they simply will not stay in my hair. I bought these at a local store which carries Kitsch products and cannot return or exchange them. Very frustrating

    Only works if you have insanely long hair.

    I Have relatively long hair that goes past my shoulders, and these 100% dont roll. They come apart in about 5 minutes after wards, because you need insanely long hair just to use these.

    Falls out of hair

    These do not work on my hair or my daughters. I was so excited to try them and I've tried all different ways to use them to see if it's just user error but they do not stay in. Tried them dry, tried them slightly dampened and my hair is still damp hours later. I was a stylist for 16 years and no longer use heat or chemicals on my hair and really wanted this to be the solution. Love other products from this company though! Can't wait to get more curl products!

    I don't know if I did it right or wrong, but I tried it on my daughter's hair. Her hair just kept slipping out every time I clipped the ends of one together, I couldn't even get to the other three.

    Will fall right out if your hair

    The rods only bend in the middle, causing hair to be loose and fall out because there’s no way to tighten it enough for it to stay. No matter what method I tried, they just fell out my hair. And I have medium course hair.

    Satin Flexi Rods

    The Satin Rods work great on my hair but when I twist closed they still come undone and fall out. I was very disappointed that they don't have anything on the ends to secure them in place. Otherwise they are great and make beautiful curls.

    Works great when you figure it out!

    I have naturally curly hair so this really only works for me when I've straightened my hair and left it unwashed a few days. Rolling the front section gives the best result but now that I've gotten the hang of them all, it prevents me from using extra heat on my hair

    Really soft and look amazing . Unfortunately my migraines didn't allow me to keep my hair and I shaved it off so I'm unable to give a proper review at this point . I'm going to see if my daughter will let me try them out on her hair

    Satin flex rods

    I'm not sure if I'm using these flex rods properly or maybe I need a smaller size…I've left the rods overnight and my hair still comes out straight. I've tried with dry hair, damp hair, clean hair and even unwashed hair and the results are always the same. There are curls after I unwind the rods, but eventually my hair goes straight. Curls don't last and hair is completely flat.
