Seems like u need alligator clips to secure it
The top part was so freaking annoying to use and it does not stay on. I have used the original pastel colored rod with zero issues and that one stays on easily with any claw clip. It seems that for this one you need to have alligator clips in order to secure it. If you don’t have something like that this would not work. I returned this. Would not recommend if you only plan to buy this

As someone with long, thick hair, I did like the curls that it gave me. The thing that made me hate this, is the huge gap at the very top. It made it really hard to keep my bangs in. If this was one solid rod, I would LOVE it.

There is a definite learning curve and I watched probably 10 videos on TikTok to try to figure this thing out. Even after that, it's still a learn as I go type of thing. I'm impressed at how well it curls my hair just by sleeping with it in, but I haven't figured out how to get it to stay put all night. Other than that, it was worth it to use to prevent further heat damage on my hair!

Didn't work for me
I have frizzy Chinese hair, shoulder length. I like the shampoo and conditioner but this cream seems to make my hair very thick but not soft. Very messy looking actually. To be fair, my hair does need a trim so maybe if you already have good hair going for you, this might work better.

It does what it says it'll do! Amazing curls! Takes a but of practice but even my first try it worked and I am not a skilled hair person. However, if you want to try the unicorn style, the rod has a flat piece in the middle. It still works as far as I can tell. My har goes down to my waist, I think I could have still used the regular size one. Theres plenty rod left over.

Poor Design
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this curling set. I have tried to use this several times since buying it and it just will not stay up. I'm not sure why this set is flattened on the top but it makes it incredibly difficult to work with. I was excited to recieve this set because I have longer hair and appreciated the extra length off the rod but it did not meet my expectations.

This did nothing for my hair
I have long, thick, wavy hair and bought these to add some definition to my hair, since the ad says it's like a blow-out without the heat. Sorry but no. This set did absolutely NOTHING for my hair, no definition, no curl, nothing. Also, it was uncomfortable to sleep with since you just use a clip at the top of your head to keep the satin tube in place. Could have dealt with it if the result was nice, but like I said, the result was... nothing. Might as well have slept with my hair in a pony tail.

This is awful. Do not buy if your hair is longer than your upper back. It doesn’t stay put and is a waste of money.

No better than a makeshift option
It technically works, but it is not comfortable to sleep in, does not include a clip to keep in place, and is way too long for my mid-back length hair. I was previously using a kneesock for overnight heatless curls and thought this would be an upgrade, but it really isn't any better. I can position the sock directly on top of my head like a halo so I don't even notice it for sleeping, but I can't figure out how to make this comfortable - it is always in the way. Could also get similar results with a rolled up hand towel or pillowcase. There's really no benefit to buying this set, it doesn't even come with a clip to keep it secured.

Just opening the box, I should I payed more attention because the part on the top is flat, which makes it hard to secure it with a claw clip, and it doesn’t come with one. The satin ties are quite small, so it might not secure your hair all the way. It also is very molded to the box, and I am having an incredibly hard time getting it to stay in place so I can wrap my hair around it.

Wouldn't stay put, didn't work
Great idea in theory. However, it didn't work for my thick wavy hair. I wanted to create more uniform curls, with more definition. This thing fell off even with the barrettes that were sold separately from this brand. Bummer. Hopefully, it works for others.
