Q: One package of 3 is enough to do your whole head of hair? What about the back? A person doesn't need to purchase 2 sets?
submitted by Roadrunner - 9 months ago
A: 3pk means 1 rod of Satin XL HCS and 2 satin scrunchies. It is recommended to use one set only as it can cover long and thick hair.

I watched a Kitch tutorial on how to use them and they turned out great! Somewhat difficult to sleep in but worth it.

I so badly wanted this to work for me but it didn't. I tried different techniques even. I have easy to curl hair so I'm not sure why I'm not getting any curls. Disappointed.
DO NOT BUY! Just buy the original

Just buy the original one that isn’t XL. I use the original one daily and it stays in no. issue. I bought this XL one for my long hair to have another option of styling and it will not stay in! I have long hair too. I had to redo it twice before bed because it fell to the back of my head. I just woke up this morning and it’s only attached to my head now at the ponytails and just hanging here. Definitely not worth $20 and can’t return it now since it’s used.
Not for fine hair or hair shorter than shoulder length

Absolutely does not work at all on fine hair because the satin roller is far too thick. I have straight, fine hair, and I have a lot of it. It is extremely difficult to get my hair to hold any kind of curl. Add to that the fact that I live in Florida. I tried setting my hair overnight in this for a week and every time I took it out in the morning, my hair lost the curl and went flat within one hour without even going outside. My hair is just past my shoulders, so shorter than a lot of the models they show it on, but even still, I doubt it would hold in my hair because it's just too thick. I have had much better luck with a cheaper satin hair curler that is much, much thinner. If they offered different widths I might consider it. Very disappointed and a huge waste of money.

My hair wasn't nearly long enough to wrap, and it's only one continuous soft roller. Even if I had long hair the scrunchies would slide off quickly. I didn't realize it was only one, long roller. There's no way I could roll my hair on this by myself.

I had bought the jumbo set and did not care for the curls it produced. Alyssa worked with me to get the right product to me without any hassle-not to mention super fast. All of the customer service reps were great, but Alyssa stuck with me until the end. The replacement product is an absolute stunning color that I am so excited to try. Thank you for amazing customer service!

I was very skeptical about this product. I can never get curls to stay in my hair all day. I slept with this on and I had the most perfect curls the next morning. They actually stayed all day. I would recommend this to all my friends.

This is so gentle on the hair and makes the most natural, gentle, modern waves on my low-porosity hair! And, I love the fresh peach color!

Pros: very soft and comfy to sleep on, produces nice curls once you get the hang of it. Cons: the website says it's 1.25" but it's actually only 1" and it even says so right on the box it comes in. If I had known the true size, I would've bought something different. Half pro/half con: because it's only 1", it produces tighter curls. If you're looking for more of a looser curl (like I am), you'll want a larger size. Also, my hair is quite fine and layered so the satin makes it so that my hair slips out sometimes. If you have very fine hair, you may want a velvet rod, but the satin would be good for someone with coarser hair or fewer layers.

I HIGHLY recommend these heatless curls. They keep my hair nice and untangled and give me amazing curls and waves. As a girl with wavy hair, these really define my waves and bring my hair from 2A/2B to 2C curls with NO knots in the morning. They are super easy to do and put in your hair and actually comfy to sleep in! Overall I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.
Would work if it stayed on

I really wanted to love this, but it was so difficult to put in and have it stay put on the side of the hair that had already been done while I did the other side. I tried claw clips, scrunchies, everything to secure it as I was putting it in but it would only stay in my hair for about 5 minutes before just falling out. My hair is quite long and thick but it does have some layers, but i just haven't been able to make this thing stay on no matter how many tutorials I watch

Helps reduce the use of heat, I still have to blow dry and defrizz my hair straight beforehand. Sometimes the curls don't last very long for me esp if the humidity in the air is high- they go frizzy. They say a sleep bonnet can help maintain the curls over night so I will also try that. I've got lots of compliments on my curls with this and it saves time when you sleep in them overnight- it's the softest one I've come across to sleep in :) also want to add that the kitsch customer service is great, I received the wrong order once and they refunded me straight away 👌

I actually liked the way the curls came out. I didn't realize it was a big silk heatless curling set. I saw XL but have not seen larger ones. The curls came out looser but they looked good. I would recommend if you want a looser curl.
Highly recommend!

First off, Kitsch has THE BEST customer service. I had issue with my first package and they resolved it immediately and rush shipped the replacement item. Secondly, I love these heatless curlers to go to bed with wet hair! Such a cool concept and great for my hair's health.

I have the original set and love it, but it was just too short for my long (beyond my waist) hair. I decided to try this set and found it to be useless. Unlike the original, this would not stay in my hair, it was continually falling out. The results are non existent for me, but with the original I have great curls that last for days.
