It’s good…but rough on the hair. You can feel the metal hanger like structure under it. There are softer ones for the same price at a different store. In a pinch, this would work.

The rod of this curler is not long enough. I have medium/long hair, 5-6” above my waist and the last 3 inches or so of my hair hangs of the rod. I’m not new to heatless curls and this is the shortest one I’ve ever seen.

Changed my life; easy and wonderful!
This headband is so fast and easy to use; and I love the curls! I was worried about it getting tangled, but no issues. It only takes me 2 minutes to wrap up my hair. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do it because I haven’t ever learned to French braid, but it is super easy to learn! Then I wear it into work and take it down before my first meeting. Most days I don’t even use any product. For dry hair, I run my hands under the faucet and then run my fingers through my hair. On shampoo days, I blow mostly dry and wrap up my hair when it is barely damp. I usually leave it in about 2 hours. It securely holds my hair in place through workouts and housework and changing clothes. I have slept on it; but prefer using it in the morning because I am an early riser and a light sleeper.

This has been the best so far for my long, thick, fine, layered hair. Having said that it is already showing noticeable signs of breaking down. The wire is twisting, it’s loosing its cushion and is more difficult to mold back into shape after each use. I’ve only used it a dozen times or so…I’m not sure how long it will hold up but so far I haven’t found a better one.

Easy and quick
I have been looking for an easy way to curl my hair without spending lots of time curling it every morning. I put this in after I shower at night and wake up to curls! It takes some trial and error to figure out how tight to wrap it (tighter means tighter curls). It was comfortable to sleep on and stayed in place all night. I have fine, thin, wavy hair for reference.

Doesn't work on Curly hair
I have really curly hair (3b) and I was trying to use this as a way to relax my curls. I was hopeful that if I wrapped them tight enough, my curls would only be as tight as the band instead of my natural curl pattern. Of course, I was disappointed since these curls can't be tamed. It did loosen my curls but they became an irregular pattern instead. This made me have odd bumps in some places. I gave it an honest go a few times because using this isn't for the weak. Since it is slippery, it's practically impossible to have the band stay in place while you are using it. It feels like a 3 hand job at minimum but I only have 2. On my last try, I had the brilliant idea of using a clip to plaster the thing to my head while I braided around it on each side. This worked way better but made it so I couldn't wrap the hair my clip was on.

This product worked so well in the beginning. After using them pretty much everyday for a couple of months, they’ve lost their puff and one side of my hair is always limp now. When I felt the band, it’s lost the majority of the cotton padding in one side and is pretty just has the wire left with sad little string of stuffing on the inside.

Amazing! After using for a week this is a must have. Gives me curls I've never had and they STAY. My hair is very fine, thin, and straight. Easy heatless curls - better for fine hair
Easy heatless curls. Finally. I've tried the other ones with the round pool noodle thingy and it never stays in my fine hair. This one actually does stay put because the band lays flat against my head. There is a learning curve but I got the hang of it pretty quick after I watched the tutorial. Pictures are of the band in my hair first time using it. After picture is just two hours later.

There is a learning curve to roll the hair correctly and evenly. I like an easier hairstyle for my job so this works for now however the pillow is almost completely gone and the wire is very tactile, making it uncomfortable to sleep in even with a silk bonnet. I haven’t had it that long and for the price it should last a bit longer. I’m in the market for a new one but until then I will keep using it.
