Nasty stinky serum
I have curly hair and don't straighten my hair that much but have used heat protectant before.. Last week I opened the bottle of Garnier Sleek & Stay Heat-Activated Serum and it had some really nasty odor.. It smelled disgusting i haven't even had it for a year.. Of money 💰

SO VERY GREASY!
I had hoped this product would work to calm my hair down and give it a sleek, shiny appearance. O My Goodness. I sprayed this product on in short spurts around my head and worked it through my hair from root to tips and dried with a blow dryer. My hair looked like I used a quarter bottle of olive oil! So greasy looking. I will have to wash my hair again but the bottle says it lasts for 5 hair washes. O dang! Maybe I used too much! I might try it again (if I can get it washed out) and just spray my hair brush. But spraying it on my hair in short spurts is a no go for me! You will have to wash your hands after working this product through your hair. I did not and I could hardly hold on to my hair dyer because of the greasy feel. From reading the ingredients, I can't tell if the chemical-sounding names are oily type products! But if using just a spurt on my hair brush doesn't work, this product is a no-go for me!

When i first got it it smelled amazing made my hair so shiny and frizz free, but after a couple of months it js smells so weird like bad weird it was such a good product i wish it didn’t develop a weird smell

Not for me
Dont see what the hype is about. I got this as a gift and I do not like it. I have frizzy, semi thick long hair and this did nothing. It made my hair very knotty especially at the ends. Plus I dont usually blow dry my hair. I did flat iron after air drying and I saw no difference. I also felt like this made my split ends show more bc this gave me a lot of breakage as well.

Hard to put on because it is very runny.
I have very curly hair. Went to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, for my step daughter’s wedding. I had hoped the Garnier Sleek & Shine would at least help with the frizz. Following the directions, it did nothing! Ended up having to wear my hair in a clip the whole time. One of the attendees asked “what happened to your hair?” I told them, “I put my finger in a plug!”

Overly Strong Fragrancde
The smell/fragrance was so strong I couldn't use it. One product that was really good was Garnier Fructis Style Smooth Blow Dry anti-frizz cream and heat protectant. It was the best product for my hair for bouncy blowouts and then for even using the flat iron. It was discontinued. Please bring it back. It didn't have an overly strong scent. It seems every product that works for me gets discontinued.

It is a little expensive. I feel in compared to other heat protectant, but this definitely helps in the texture. I would say that they need to improve the packaging because whenever I’m traveling, the bottle starts leaking and it’s not very convenient but

Definitely sleek and Shine
Love love love this product. I have chemically treated hair, therefore my hair is frizzy and dry. This hair serum gave my hair the healthiest look. The frizz is gone and my hair is TAMED!! The serum does not smell weird.

Did not last one wash
