Q: Can this be used on damp hair for blow drying?

A: Hi there, since the hair is weaker when it’s wet its best to flat iron dry hair. While the Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector Flexible Hold Straightening Mist was made for use with a flat iron styler, it can be used before blow drying as well. If just blow drying, it can be used on damp hair.

I like that this doesn’t leave my hair oily. I spritz a very little bit on and then flat iron it. I noticed some people writing that it leaves their hair oily, but that is because they might be putting too much on. My hair has always been fine and oily so this product doesn’t make my hair look or feel oily after using it…and I have tried a lot of different brands in the last 20 plus years.

I bought this because I needed something to protect my hair not damage. I followed the instructions and my hair was left sticky and tangled, after it was combed out. I brushed my hair after and it felt like I was ripping my hair out. My hair now is so thin! Only thing I can say is it smells good.

Does not work, said to apply then immediately flat iron, and it burned my hair when I did that. Also leaves a very sticky and oily feeling.

It did not feel like it protected my hair at all. If anything my hair has become more damaged than before. Feels thin watery and again the visible damage is noticeable, it did the opposite.

Wow this stuff is amazing! My hair usually curls again after about 4 hours, but so far my hair has stayed pin straight for 15 hours! Even after wearing headphones and tucking my hair behind my ears it stayed straight. The scent is a little strong, but there's no weird residue or texture left behind on my hair. I'll definitely be buying this again!
