Not the Same
I have been using this product for years and loved it. However, recently I purchased the newly packaged gel. The first time I used it I wondered why my curls wouldn't set. The second time I used double the amount and once again - my hair was soft and the curls didn't hold. I wondered what happened and then started reading the reviews. Please bring back the old formula.

Makes hair frizzy
The older formula was amazing. I recommended it to many ppl bc they would ask if I styled my hair bc it looked good. I simply put a small glob of gel into wet hair abd gave it an upside down scrunch. Lol! The new formula is awful. Doesn't really do anything for my hair except enhance the frizz. Why? Why did you discontinue this one? Before you tell me about knowing how disappointing this is ir something similar, please know, I simply want to know what happened to the original formula.. it was great!

Horrible product. It makes my hair frizzy, it doesn't hold, it smells nice but not great. I would definitely not recommend this product. The only reason I got it was because I couldn't find LA Looks anywhere. I rather just use nothing next time if this is all I have available. Made my hair look and feel dirty and heavy.

Does not work at all!!
I used to love this product. It was always part of my daily routine. It has not worked for me for awhile now and I just found out the formula was changed! This was the worst choice. There is 0 hold! My hair looks/feels/behaves as if there is no gel at all. It leaves a greasy feeling and is absolutely horrible.

What changed???
I have used this, or what I thought this was forever. I know the packaging is a bit different but based on other reviews, it's the same. So disappointed with this one! I used to get good curls, now I look like a wet dog. I first thought maybe I put too much in. But today, I used less and I look so greasy! Of course I am on my way out to see people I haven't for awhile. Not happy looking like a wet dog on a sunny day.

The Curl Scrunch controlling gel should create defined, volume-controlled curls without flyaways and flaky residue. Curls should be shiny with gorgeous, defined curl control without the frizz. Be sure you didn’t pick up the conditioning curl definer, the Curl Sculpt Conditioning Cream Gel instead. This is also sold in a similar looking tube. For some reason this smells great in the tube, however after applying to my freshly washed hair, it takes in a smell of stink bugs!

This gel is awful. It has zero hold. I don’t have right curls but I practically used a whole bottle. What a waste of money. Bring back the curl treat gel.
