I don't know if I ordered the wrong product or if it's a bad bottle or what the story is as this has so many wonderful reviews. I used it with a blow dryer followed by a swipe of an iron at 260° and my hair is now extreme dry and crunchy. It's LITERALLY breaking off. Thinking that may be the product just didn't like my hair or my hair didn't like the product I tried to wash it out with a clarifying shampoo what's only clarified that real damage is done. For perspective, I have naturally curly hair which falls into spirals and I simply blow out the top and bangs and iron them to smooth them. I Spritz this all throughout my hair because that's what the direction said to do. That is how I know that is it's a fault of the product that my hair is all dry and crunchy and breaking. if it were just my bangs I would think that maybe the blow dryer or iron were malfunctioning but my whole head is all crunchy and dry. Out of all the products that I have tried for assistance with blow drying and heat I have found only two that actually work well and don't destroy my hair so perhaps I just have very unusual hair.

I tried the TRESemmé Keratin Heat Protectant and while it does work to protect my hair from heat, it left my hair feeling really oily after styling. It smooths out frizz but the heavy finish isn’t for me. Liked the scent though

This is one of the best heat protector sprays I’ve used. Myself and daughters have curly hair and this Really helps to maintain frizz and protect your hair from heat. Smells lovely, good price for a great product and doesn’t leave a feeling of residue in your hair.
