The glacial water and avocado oil combo feels super gentle and soothing on my sensitive skin. It lathers nicely without feeling too creamy or heavy, and I really like the subtle, clean scent. The scent fresh but not overpowering. My skin actually feels soft and not stripped after using it, unlike most bar soap I encounter. The packaging is simple and neat, easy to open. Definitely feels like a little upgrade from the regular bar soap.

I use Dove deodorant and body wash on a regular basis, so I was excited when Influenster sent me Dove bar soap to try and review. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a good experience. I could smell the Dove Beauty Bar with Glacial water before I even opened the shipping box and it wasn’t a pleasant smell. I opened the package and the scent burned my nose and immediately started giving me a headache. Just from touching the wrapped soap, my hands still smelled hours later (I even washed them off using another soap)! Due to the scent, I was unable to test the actual bar of soap. However, I have used the Dove unscented bar soap and like it. If you’re sensitive to scents, I would *not* suggest this soap.

The smell also stays around and doesnt disipate at all. I ended up opening a box and leaving it in the guest bathroom just for the scent.
