My favorite, by far
It's difficult to find a vegan protein bar that doesn't have artificial sweeteners or stevia, crazy preservatives, or insanely high sugar content. So far, Trubar has been a delicious option that checks most of my boxes. The Smother Fudger Peanut Butter flavor is my fav so far, but every other version I've tried has been surprisingly good. I would love to see new options sweetened with monk fruit or dates at some point, but I still have no complaints about the current versions. Highly recommended!

Moldy Bar – Very Disappointed
I love TruBars, but was shocked when I bit into one from a new box and tasted a lot of mold. It was disgusting and made me question the brand’s quality control. I’ve contacted TruBar about it and hope they address the issue.

Decadent, delicious, healthy protein delivery bar.
I have been looking for a higher protein breakfast bar with less sugars than the usual selection and discovered Trubar. They are absolutely delicious, and healthy too! Who would have thought that there would be such a decadent tasting bar, and it would be made of such healthy, natural ingredients? Do yourself a favor and try one right away!

Like eating a scoop of peanut butter from the jar. Very chewy, but if you're going for PB that is kind of the point! Actually tastes like peanut butter, too. Not like the dehydrated PB alternatives.

My favorite part about these bars is the nutrition. No seed oils, 7g sugar not bad, gluten free and pretty healthy for a protein bar! The taste is great, the consistency isn’t my favorite but still super tasty regardless.

I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a few years ago and my choice of tasty food has decreased immensely. A lot of gluten free food is dry and difficult for me to swallow without choking. These bars are a Godsend. They are soft and the creamy peanut butter is amazing. Feels like I'm eating "normal" food again. Very happy customer.

Bland and bad for you. I was so excited for this bar that I went ahead and bought a whole box before trying it. Oops. It doesn't taste like chocolate and barely by peanut butter. But the reason why I didn't even eat more than a bite from the whole box is because of the ingredients. Almonds are a surprise in this. Why put that extra allergen in it? It also has a harmful oil in it. As I stated in my lime flavor review, sunflower oil or olive oil is much safer. Safflower, palm, cotton, canola and cottonseed oils are dangerous. This is why I can't bring myself to donate the box to a shelter. No one should be eating it.

It tastes like a cross between a peanut butter cup and brownie batter. Super soft, rich, and fudgey without being too sweet or fake. What I love most is that it’s plant-based, has clean ingredients, and still packs 12g of protein. No weird aftertaste, no chalky texture, and none of that artificial protein bar vibe. Just a genuinely satisfying snack that actually keeps me full. Perfect for after workouts, in between clients, or when I just want something sweet but not junky. The texture is chewy but as you continue to chew it disintegrates. 12 grams of protein and 13 grams of fiber is awesome for such a small compact bar. I also loved that I could read the ingredients list! I was not a big fan of the taste but my husband was. He said it tasted like peanut butter.
