I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease a few years ago and my choice of tasty food has decreased immensely. A lot of gluten free food is dry and difficult for me to swallow without choking. These bars are a Godsend. They are soft and the creamy peanut butter is amazing. Feels like I'm eating "normal" food again. Very happy customer.

Bland and bad for you. I was so excited for this bar that I went ahead and bought a whole box before trying it. Oops. It doesn't taste like chocolate and barely by peanut butter. But the reason why I didn't even eat more than a bite from the whole box is because of the ingredients. Almonds are a surprise in this. Why put that extra allergen in it? It also has a harmful oil in it. As I stated in my lime flavor review, sunflower oil or olive oil is much safer. Safflower, palm, cotton, canola and cottonseed oils are dangerous. This is why I can't bring myself to donate the box to a shelter. No one should be eating it.

The chocolate and peanut butter flavors are perfectly balanced — they’re sweet but not too sweet. It tastes like a cross between a peanut butter cup and brownie batter. Super soft, rich, and fudgey without being too sweet or fake. What I love most is that it’s plant-based, has clean ingredients, and still packs 12g of protein. No weird aftertaste, no chalky texture, and none of that artificial protein bar vibe. Just a genuinely satisfying snack that actually keeps me full. Perfect for after workouts, in between clients, or when I just want something sweet but not junky. This bar doesn’t taste like it has artificial ingredients or weird protein powders. It’s delicious! The texture is soft but doesn’t get stuck in your teeth. The texture is chewy but as you continue to chew it disintegrates. 12 grams of protein and 13 grams of fiber is awesome for such a small compact bar. I also loved that I could read the ingredients list! I was not a big fan of the taste but my husband was. He said it tasted like peanut butter.

If you have a busy lifestyle it can be hard to make sure you get enough protein, and these are a great solution to that problem. I will definitely be buying a large box of these.

really tasty. I usually don't like protien bars cuz of the texture but these didn't really have that. taste was good and texture was good. I only wish they were sold at my store. Had to have them shipped and they arrived squished; no shipping paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For being so void of things bad for you it’s still pretty good, granted I think I also am used to eating things not exactly great for me so the natural taste will take some time to get used to. I think the texture is a little too solid and thick but the taste profile is pretty good as a healthy dessert or pre/post workout snack. I’ll still eat them but I’m not sure if I’d go out of my way to buy them.

The Smother Fudger Peanut Butter bar is super chocolatey with a rich peanut butter flavor and feels like a treat more than a protein bar. The texture is soft and chewy (not dry or chalky like some bars I’ve tried), and it kept me full for hours. I had it as a mid-morning snack and didn’t feel the need to reach for anything else until lunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the yummiest protein bars I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a LOT of protein bars. These are smooth and not chalky at all. They are not bulky as far as mass, but definitely fill you up. For 12 grams of protein, they’re pretty great! It’s hard to beat a protein bar that tastes like this and is easy to eat. The packaging makes it convenient to take along with you and for you to recognize.

Sadly, our local grocery only carries four varieties of TRUBARs, but each one of them is delicious with this one being my favorite. I am an athlete who needs to cut out dairy and artificial sweeteners. These bars are it.

The taste is ok. The protein bar has a texture of a true protein bar. I do like how chocolatey the car tastes. It also did taste like peanut butter. The calories are typical for a protein bar. It is lower in carbs.
