It does have a little hint of glazed donut flavor, but it's very little along with more protein taste. It's not horrible at all, though. The bar itself is thick and easy to eat without any mess. If someone handed me one, I'd definitely eat it, but it isn't going to be my go to product.

I also like the fact that it has real cane sugar (8g) instead of artificial sugars. The texture is chewy and you do have the cassava and tapioca mouthfeel BUT it’s not bad or overwhelming. The flavor does remind me of a glazed donut, and I honestly really liked these bars. I would purchase these.

I was very hopeful in finding a healthy snack that would curb my sweet cravings, but this one does not fit that criteria. You need to enjoy plant based alternatives already. It’s not disgusting, but certainly tastes nothing like donuts. It sort of looks like one, and that’s the only slightest resemblance. I am impressed with the amount of protein and fiber packed into one small bar, and although I don’t enjoy it completely, my body isn’t complaining one bit for eating healthier alternatives.
Great product if you tolerate pea protein!

I am really impressed ingredients-wise, I am typically someone who stays away from polyunsaturated fats, so I happy to see the added fat was sustainable palm oil. However, I don't love pea protein as a protein source personally, it messes with my gut. However, if you tolerate it well this is a very tasty protein-filled treat!

They’re coated in this dreamy frosting that seriously tastes like a donut, and the texture, Perfectly chewy and soft, they literally melt in your mouth! I could eat these all day and never get tired of them. Each bar is only 190 calories, packed with 12g of protein and 11g of fiber—so they’re not only delicious, but they actually keep you full. They’re made with clean ingredients like almonds, brown rice, pea protein, and cassava, and they check all the boxes: Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Vegan, Seed Oil Free, Non GMO & No Sugar Alcohols!! Amazing!!! I will absolutely be repurchasing these over and over again. DEELISH!! Truly, if I could give this 10 stars, I would!

This one knocks it out of the park! I will admit, seeing it out of the packaging was a little alarming, but the taste and consistency are so good and it’s filling as well. I will 100% be buying these in the future!

They taste that awesome AND they’re good for you too! With 11 grams of fiber, 12 grams of protein and only 190 calories these are more like a reward!! To my surprise this wasn’t the case with the Trubar protein bar! The taste was excellent and not chalky at all! I got the glazed donut flavor and it taste as close to a donut as you can get without it being unhealthy lol. I liked the fact that they put the glaze over the bar to give you the esthetics of a donut! The consistency of the bar was very easy to eat and digest! The ingredients are minimal which is a plus! The bar is a bit small and still gives you 12g of protein which is good and you also get 11g of fiber as well. The only downside is the calorie intake. It’s 190 calories per bar and that’s a bit much but if you only eat one or two a day and you have a healthy diet you should be fine. And of course work out as well. All in all I would recommend and buy this product without a doubt! I look forward to trying the other flavors!

I like the texture and that this bar is uniform (instead of different ingredients showing through). But I find it a little messy - I received my package on a warm (not hot) day and the bars were flimsy and soft, and the coating was melty… I had to store them in the fridge. So for me that’s a good at home snack, but doesn’t seen convenient to carry in my bag or have in the car

The outside has a glaze of sorts and the middle has something between the texture of caramel and nougat! Absolutely satisfying! As for the flavor, it's also delectable! I'm not sure how reminiscent of a donut it is but delish regardless! It actually does taste like candy, not "protein" which is awesome! They're very crave able and something that you actually want to eat. They're definitely on the sweet side but not so much to where it's difficult to eat an entire bar. And that's coming from someone who isn't huge on sweets to begin with. But yes, love these! Totally recommend and I look forward to both ordering these again and trying the other flavors too! :D
