Not for sweettooth's
I LOVE this protein bar. I tend to lean more towards bitter and strong flavor’s vs sweet ( ex: sour candy, dark chocolate, espresso shots vs caramel macchiato, etc) so if you prefer sweet (cupcakes, cookie dough, ice cream, etc) this prob won’t be for you. I’m lactose intolerant and it’s very hard to find a vegan protein bar I actually like without that weird fake sweetener aftertaste. My only gripe is how expensive it is. If you prefer sweet I’d recommend misfits protein bars

No pistachio flavor
Drew, I was excited to see of pistachio chocolate flavored protein bar because I love pistachios. but I didn't taste pistachio at all and the chocolate had this weird artificial flavor. Not to mention four bars for eight bucks was not worth it. definitely a pass for me.

I liked the taste of this bar quite a lot, though the pistachio flavor could stand to come through a little more. The bar is mostly just chocolate with a hint of pistachio. While I appreciate the nutritional profile and the fact that they are 170 calories, they are much too expensive to justify buying repeatedly for the good-but-not-fantastic taste. I'd buy it again if it were $6.99. $9.99 is hilarious for what you get here.

Celery?
These are solid quality bars with good, tender protein, crisps that aren’t hard and chew up easily. I think we all know the too hard crunchy plant-based situation we’ve all encountered. I also enjoy the fact that there is no obviously fake sweetener in them. And honestly, I would buy them again if they were billed as herbal or adaptogen or something— but they don’t taste like pistachio. They taste like celery. It’s not bad. It’s just not pistachio.
