Excellent Car and Fun Build
The colours on this really pop and it's nice and sturdy so easy to play with. Great to build while watching an F1 Academy race!

Lego Formula 1 car
I bought this car to go with my other Lego vehicles. I love it. The hardest part was some of the small stickers but a pair of tweezers helps with this.

Great addition
I appreciate this addition to the open-wheel sets. It looks great among all the other recent releases and I really appreciate the attention to detail on the things that make an F1 Academy car different than its counterparts.

Loved it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this LEGO speed of F1 Academy exceeded my expectations. The design is really sharp and the colors pop even more in person, it was a fun build, nothing too complicated but still engaging, I did it with my 7yo son and was really fun! The finished car looks great on display and I line that is sturdy enough to handle a play too. Details like the rear wing and front nose give it a realistic F1 feel (wife of a biiiiig F1 fan) haha

Great for all ages.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never built one of these but I thought this would be great for my gifted 6-year old. However, when it came the age suggestion is 10+. The car came in 4 bags with very simple instructions to follow. She struggled with the first bag with help from me and her grandmother. My mother (in her late 60’s) and I actually ended up building most of it and loved it! My mother actually asked me to buy another one! I can see why building Lego models have become a hobby for a lot of adults. Definitely would recommend this.

From LEGO® Customer Service team
Oh no! That is not the experiece we want our builders to have. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You’ll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together. Feel free to reach out to us at LEGO.build/Service if you need assistance!

A great gift to give!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So cute! Absolutely going to love building this with my husband and our toddler. Lego’s are always great quality and hold together really well. For a more permanent hold I may purchase Lego glue. Still such a great gift!

Lovely colors and low sticker count
This is a very simple and fun build. Bright colors. Resembles the F1 Academy LEGO sponsored vehicle for this 2026 Season. Not many stickers, which is a plus.

Great Set and Much needed
This is one of the best Lego sets this year. First the fact that Lego sponsors this much-needed series is great unto itself, but to have a model of it is extraordinary. The build is great and although some stickers, there are a number of printed parts for which I am very happy about. This model is great for kids (girls and boys) and for the AFOLs (like me) as well. This will join the other Speed Champions F1 cars on my shelves and I highly recommend getting one yourself.

Racing into a new era , The F1 Academy Race Car
The LEGO Speed Champions F1 Academy Race Car 77258 is such a refreshing addition to the Speed Champions lineup. Inspired by the real F1 Academy series, this build celebrates the rise of women in motorsport while delivering the sleek Formula-style design LEGO fans love With 201 pieces, the build is smooth, engaging, and surprisingly detailed for its size. I really enjoyed the authentic race-car touches — the halo cockpit, sharp rear wing, and tyres with printed Pirelli-style markings that make the car look incredibly realistic on display. The included female F1 Academy driver minifigure is a great touch and fits perfectly into the cockpit, adding personality to the build. Once finished, the car looks amazing on a shelf — compact but full of racing attitude. For Speed Champions collectors and motorsport fans, this set isn’t just another F1 car — it’s a meaningful and stylish addition that stands out in any LEGO racing lineup.
