A little flimsy
I collect and have assembled many Speed Champions cars, but have never felt compelled to review or provide feedback until this one. There are several places in this set (namely the sub assemblies behind the rear wheel arches) where larger groups of bricks are attached by a single stud. This leads to alignment issues (panel gaps) as well as a model that feels like it is coming apart as I move it around to add more pieces. I won’t be playing with it the same way a kid would, but I imagine it wouldn’t hold up to anything much rougher than rolling back and forth on a table. Definitely doesn’t feel as sturdy as most of my other SC cars.

Missing pieces
I couldn’t build the entire thing because it was missing multiple pieces including the head and hair of the character. I only was able to make it to about step ten before I couldn’t build any further due to the multiple missing pieces

Needs a redesign ASAP
I bought this set for my granddaughter because she loves challengers, along with two other speed champion sets so we could do a competition to see who could build the fastest. Unfortunately, for my granddaughter, she came in dead last due to this horrible design. She had the same problem as many other others, the dash piece does not meet the connecting part so it stays mobile. This is a real problem when the next step is one where you have to flip the car over and add stuff to the bottom. Then forget about adding the windshield to it because that’s not going to happen. I spent over an hour trying to help my granddaughter fix this car and it just couldn’t be done. I then took it all apart and put it back in the box and put it in the cabinet. I have built well over 100 sets and this is by far the worst set one I have built to date. IMO, this needs to be reinterpreted in way that allows the build to be secure. The challenger looked good, but functionality and ease of build are important too. I do not recommend this set to anyone.

The build for this is astounding. The designer went to great lengths to create a nearly flawless and instantly recognizable build. Not a fan of the continued price increases, however.

Amazing muscle car
Perfect muscle car addition. Color is a bit crazy, but I've seen one of these in real life so I approve :) What I love is that there are no stickers in this set. All logos are pre-printed on the bricks and it is a massive improvement. Try it and you will understand. The engine cover is a bit on a loose side, but it holds even when my son plays with it, just needs a little adjustment when going back to display. I personally like the lights on this car, they are done very well and I would love if all cars have clear bricks lights instead of the stickers.

No two speed champions are the same. This was a really different build approach and delivered a solid model car. The subtle touch’s on the badges are excellent, so under stated and yet still catch your eye. I loved that the driver looks period / style specific….. so cool. I loved the way the dash went together - all tiger unique. Please continue to add more to the range.

Must Have Speed Champion
Great build with various techniques for a Speed Champions set, showcasing the latest design approaches. I hope these will be adopted in upcoming models. Lots of custom parts, special wheels, and no stickers! I wish the quality of some parts were more consistent, as the finishing varies across pieces - something I'd attribute to recent manufacturing shifts or expanded production facilities, but I think that's inevitable. All in all, a MUST HAVE, and the best Speed Champions set I've built so far in terms of build experience, highly recommend!

The worst Lego set I've ever built.
The entire engineering of this model was poorly thought out. A solid Lego design has major connecting pieces secured by several overlapping pieces, and this car is entirely the opposite. For instance the side fender and back spoiler side 7 pieces entirely attached by a single dot (see picture 1). Most of the side is not securely attached. The center console with the dash and steering wheel are attached by an awkward 2 dot and pole which does not align well. At the 4th from last step, I had to undo about 30 steps to find that I made no mistakes, the design is just poorly fitted. Then the entire windshield is attached above that making the entire car flimsy and easy to break. I've spent around $1500 on Legos this year, and this was by far the worse.
