WICKED: The Official Visual Companion – by Universal Pictures Target Exclusive (Hardcover)

This is a pretty low quality book lacking a lot of the detail of the movie.

Beautiful pictures of the first movie with a few teasers of the second movie however I feel misled. I pre-ordered this book and it's release coincided with the second movie's release so I believed it would have as many pictures of the second movie. It absolutely does not. Had I known this I would have returned it. The return window has closed.

This book is really cool, i feel if u haven’t seen the wicked movie, but want the book, i don’t think you will have a problem interpreting anything, or much questions about the plot! i hope they make a wicked for good one!

I was hesitant to buy this because of the bad reviews, but after seeing Wicked: For Good and it being on such a great deal, I went ahead and bought it! And I’m glad I did! It’s beautiful, the images are real, the pages are great quality; it’s like taking a walk through both movies! I love it!

Horrible quality on many of the photos, pages with huge black bars on the top and bottom. Definitely not worth the price and will be returning. No wonder it was wrapped, so you couldn’t see how terrible before buying it!

This is the one gift I told my family I wanted for Christmas. It was a waste of a gift. (My mother who got it for me agrees.) The picture quality is awful. My shrink wrapped, sealed book was missing the poster. I should have taken my own movie pictures from my TV and saved my mother the money this thing cost.

missed the mark on this! the collection of photos is great however they are VERY blurry thus dulling the entire experience. the cover is beautiful, and textured!! but from the turn of the first page, I felt sad because the photos...if they were clearer, more vibrant, then this would have been PHENOMENAL! Mine is going back unfortunately 😕

Terrible. The picture quality is horrendous. It looks like someone was watching the movie, paused it, took a photo of the screen and printed it. There are no behind the scenes photos or any movie facts… just incredibly poor quality pictures that a toddler threw together in PowerPoint.

Target should be embarrassed to carry this “exclusive” book. The pictures are poor quality screen grabs from the movie. No on set photos. The printing is poor quality and shows motion blur. Pages are warped. My kids are very little and don’t notice too much, but are bewildered as to why there’s not much about Wicked For Good. Overall a big letdown

I purchased this book for Christmas. The booked was sealed shut, so I couldn’t look at it when I bought it. My daughter just opened her Christmas gift and every pages is rippled. It looks like the book sat out in the rain for days. Now what do I do? So upset.

The quality of the book itself is good, but the actual contents of the book is bad. Like others have said, the photo quality of some images are horrendous. I wish they took the care to at least make the spread on both pages equally blurry. That way the blurriness is less noticeable. But the spread contains crisp and blurry pictures, so the difference is incredibly noticeable. There are no extra tidbits or information to actually serve as a a “companion” to the movie. It’s literally screenshots of the movie and some quotes. And some of the quotes aren’t even correct, which is absolutely egregious. It does not provide any extra value to a fan. It’s nice to have in the collection, but only buy this second hand and not at MSRP.

I created an account just to write this review. I was SO disappointed with the quality of this product. The cover is beautiful but so many of the pictures are blurry. Unfortunately I cannot even return the product as I purchased it through a re-seller as I'm based in Australia. I expected clear, crisp pictures for something like this. It honestly looks like someone took screenshots of the movie from a computer with slow connection. Don't waste your money.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but this was book was just extremely disappointing. It’s all just screen shots from the movie. Some are blurry & just low resolution quality. $28 is criminal (regular $40 is even more criminal) Definitely not worth it at all & do not recommend. I’m sure there are way better movie companions out there.

What a fun book! Love the images and letters

It is a really nice book for collection purposes, but unfortunately some of the pictures are not very good and there are no letters written to each other as described in the details of the book.

I am so happy with this book! Really cool pictures, showing an inside look into the movie magic. I brought it home and my family was bickering over who got to read it more and was the hottest thing in my house for a few days. There are so many interesting pieces from the book that add to my movie experience and I'm so thankful to have it in my home library. I loved it so much I went and bought a second book to give to my sister for Christmas, I know she'll love it as much as I do.

I purchased this item in the store. It was shrink wrapped so you couldn't see anything besides the outer cover. The cover is high quality, but that's about it. It's a hardcover that's a beautiful color & textured. The poster is disappointing because it has Elphaba on one side & Glinda on the other, so you'd have to choose which side to display (who doesn't want both?!). The photo quality of the posters is great, should have included 2 separate of each beloved character. The picture quality, as other reviewers mentioned, is hideoteous. Looking through the pages in order, most of the first 10 pages are blurry. Some pictures you wouldn't even know what's pictured if you hadn't watched the movie (flying monkeys breaking through glass ceiling). I would guess at least 2/3 of the pictures in the book are poor quality. The book is like someone watched the movie, paused it every 30 seconds. & then took a picture of the paused screen with a poor quality camera. It also has very short quotes from the movie that match the photos dispersed throughout. Save yourself a clock tick & pass on this one. I ended up returning it.
