  • A: I would go onto the David Protien website , it is really comprehensive and answers so many questions about the product in the FAQ section and they seem to have amazing customer service, I’m sure any questions are that aren’t answered on the website, you could message them and they would respond. I’ve have only really good experiences with this company although I’m not sure of the answer to your specific question!!

Our bars include collagen derived from bovine sources and use whey protein as part of our Protein System. David does not contain any pork products.     Great source of protein

    I bought a box of David’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bars and I am very satisfied because, being a vegetarian, it is a challenge to meet my daily protein requirements, especially because I do strength training 3 times a week. This helps me to continue to build my muscle mass in a very satisfying way. I take one bar mostly every day.

    The best protein bars!

    I love these bars!!! Finally, a protein bar that actually tastes great! I have tried all the flavors. I love that they don’t have a lot of calories but tons of protein. They are sweet but not too sweet, the texture is great, no aftertaste; just overall delicious. My favorite is the cinnamon roll flavor.

    As a diabetic, I have to limit my sugars and carbs. This bar satisfies my sweet tooth without the sugars. The carbs are relatively low compared to other snack bars. I highly recommend it!

    terrible for your gut. worst protein bar ever

    the macros were great. this is the only protein bar that absolutely kills my stomach. causes the worst digestive issues. after research, I found that this is common problem with many people having diarrhea, bloating, and gas. the ingredients are terrible and have insoluble fats that don't digest well. would not recommend this at all.

    I'll give credit where it's due: the nutritional label is solid and the texture is acceptable. However, while eating it, a cheesy smell comes through, which is quite odd for a cinnamon-flavored product. The overall taste is not pleasant either, with an extra note that simply doesn't belong. If I had to choose, the chocolate flavor seems to be the most decent of the bunch—but honestly, that's not enough to make me come back. I'd rather sacrifice a bit on the nutritional side and go for an alternative with more calories but a flavor I actually enjoy. I would not buy this again.
