HARD AS A ROCK

I have been buying these for two years, the last box I purchased which only had 4 packs of two bars in it were AWFUL. Two of the four packs were HARD AS A ROCK AND I COULDN'T EVEN CONSUME. What a waste of money, they are pricey so I should not only be able to consume only two packages in a box of FOUR!!!

New recipe is terrible

Is there any chance the recipe will be changed back to the old recipe? I used to love them and buy them in bulk as the best grab and go snack but now they're hard, dry and don't taste good so I'd love to know when/if the recipe switches back so I can start buying them again.

Terrible new recipe

The new recipe is not good. Smaller size, less chocolate and flavor, harder bars. Something is not right with the chocolate because it tastes and looks like raisins. Its disappointing. I eat these every day at work but will now be finding something else to do. I'm tired of the shrinkflation and low quality product for above average prices!

My new favorite breakfast bars!

These breakfast bars are absolutely incredible! They have a great banana, peanut butter, chocolate taste. They are nice and soft which I love as well. You get a good amount of protein with them too. Also have two in a pack which is nice! These are great for breakfast or for a little snack throughout the day. They have a good balance of sweet with a tiny bit of salty. These might be my new favorite bars! They are so good!

New formula is awful

I have been eating one of these bars every morning for years, the new recipe is awful and I will be finding a new substitute. The texture is completely different, they used to be soft, now they are hard and chalky. The flavored used to taste like banana, now it tastes terrible. I'm not sure why Kind felt they needed to change the formula, they already charge a premium for these bars and this just feels like a greedy reach to cut costs. I will choose to buy something else going forward for breakfast.

*Updated Review* Extremely Disappointed

I have lived off of these bars for over a year during my pregnancy and breastfeeding. I rely on them in the middle of the night while breastfeeding and during the day when my baby is nursing/contact napping. Unfortunately since the recipe change these bars are rock hard, no flavor & way smaller than they used to be. Literally 4 boxes in a row have been rock hard with maybe one or two that have been slightly edible. I will no longer be purchasing. So disappointed :(

Where's the chocolate?

So disappointed! I used to love these but they aren't what they used to be. They used to have nice size chocolate chunks in them and now you can't find any chocolate. Bring back the old version.

Horrible Recipe Change

I have been buying these in bulk and eating one a day for years as my favorite breakfast snack. They changed the recipe and are absolutely terrible now. They used to be soft, chewy, and actually taste like real bananas and big chunks of chocolate chips. They are now hard, dry, and completely tasteless. I'm so disappointed.

Terrible! What happened!

What happened to these bars!?!? I have been eating these for years and now I can't even fathom the new taste and texture. They are horrible. They taste and look burnt. I feel like im going to break a tooth everytime I take a bite. It's now a waste of money to buy these new formulated bars. I will be switching to a different brand. Please change these back!!

These used to be my favorite bar and I would eat them daily, but after the recipe change they’re so hard and tasteless :( I’m going to have to find another company for my bars.

Dislike new breakfast protein recipe

Kind breakfast protein bars used to be my favorite bar and one I would recommend to many friends and clients (as a nutrition coach) for both quality but also taste and texture. Since getting the new formulated bars, I’ve noticed a change in texture and taste and they’re no longer my favorite. I hope KIND can go back to the previous recipe.

Delicious

Getting enough protein that your body needs is easy with Kind Breakfast bars. The peanut butter banana dark chocolate flavor is my absolute favorite. I would give it 10/10 if I could. The flavor combination will have you wanting more than one. Perfect granola bar to grab and go, or savor and enjoy.

The yummiest protein bars

These are some of the best tasting protein bars! They could be dessert bc they taste so good. My husband has them every morning and they keep him full until lunch time. I have also caught him eating them for dessert too! I don't even like protein bars because of the taste but I love these ones

Who asked for a change? The old bar without peanut butter was perfect. I eat this bar everyday and am disappointed by the new flavor and texture.

Really hard!

Change them back! I also used to buy these for my kids, and they would eat them daily. Now they are hard as a rock!! I almost broke a tooth trying to eat one the other day. I just bought a brand new box thinking maybe it was the box that I purchased. However now that I'm seeing all the comments I realize that you've probably changed the recipe. This is a bummer! They were so delicious.

No longer any good

Change them back! I had been buying these regularly for a long time, consuming almost every day. The recent order I received I noticed new packaging and hoped that didn’t mean they changed the flavor. Unfortunately they have a fake flavor about them now, and they are staler (used to be soft and chewy). A few were even rock hard and completely inedible. I won’t be buying these again unless I hear the recipe changes back.
