Clean Simple Eats Protein Powder - Chocolate Brownie Batter - 9.5oz/10ct: Whey Protein Isolate, 20g Protein

Has anyone else noticed the package size has shrunk from 36 ounces to 28.5 ounces? Same price, but to be 30 servings, I guess they also shrank the scoop size. A bit disappointed, but a great product otherwise.

I have been buying this product for over a year and it has been instrumental in my health journey. Unfortunately they change the ingredients and it leaves an awful aftertaste. I used to drink a protein coffee every single morning and I just cannot stomach it now. It's unfortunate because I have multiple bags in my pantry that will just go to waste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though I appreciate making it cleaner, I feel it's gave it a more protein powder taste compared to before, weirdly. It also is harder to mix of course since the combiners are gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean Simple Eats had the best tasting protein powder I’d ever had, I got a variety pack a few years ago but unfortunately I got bad stomach issues from what I think was the xylitol in the old formula. I was disappointed to have to throw the rest of the flavors away because I loved the taste of them so much. So I was very excited to see the new formula recently, and got a new variety pack. Brownie batter is the best one I tried! I’m getting a full size one.

The flavor change is okay for sure, but when I mix it into my hot coffee, it leaves a film on my tongue now and an after taste that’s super bitter. Super bummed. Still love you guys, just can’t use your product anymore.

I did not like this flavor at all. not very chocolate and kinda taste like medicine

I like that it has been updated but it's missing the fudge brownie flavor from the original. When I make my protein shake it leaves and after taste that I didn't get from the original protein powder.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had to write about the news of the new formula. I had to stop using CSE protein powder because it was giving me TERRIBLE stomach aches. I came to realize that it was the xylitol causing my stomach pain. I absolutely love all of the flavors of protein powder that I’ve tried from CSE so it was a real bummer to have to switch. I just got the text about the new formula removing xylitol and I am so excited! I’m definitely switching back! THANK YOU CSE!!

I really wanted to like this protein powder, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. I got the Chocolate Brownie Batter and the Chocolate Peanut Butter. The sweetness is completely overpowering. It tastes more like melted candy in the worst way possible. Even when I mixed it with extra water and milk to tone it down, it was still overwhelmingly sweet. On top of that, there’s a strange, artificial aftertaste that lingers way too long. It has that chemical-like flavor that sticks to your mouth and just won’t go away. I actually found myself needing to brush my teeth after drinking it just to get rid of the taste. What makes this even worse is that I bought two bags, thinking it would be a safe bet. Now I’m stuck with both because the return process is such a hassle that it’s not even worth the time and effort. Super disappointing purchase, definitely won’t be buying again.

It’s terrible. I absolutely live the snickerdoodle flavor and tried brownie batter thinking it would be just as good, but no. The smell is so deceiving too. The taste is just bitter and metallic. Not good at all.

I am a huge fan of CSE protein powder. I started off the with single-serving variety pack. I found that my favorite flavor is the chocolate brownie batter. One thing I can say, is if normal protein powder upsets your stomach and gives you that sudden urge to run the bathroom; then CSE protein is the protein for you. I would be super ecstatic to see them come out with their own line of pre-workout and BCAA's!

Taste is good as a retailer protein shake. But it states online that you can add this your pancake mix but it doesn’t cook at all in the middle. I tried it different ways and it is not a good protein powder to add to mixes.

I’m a long time supporter, from the Facebook group contest and seasonal recipe book days. Has the formula changed in the last 12 months or something? It tastes more artificial to me lately. I’ve always loved CSE because they don’t taste like a typical protein powder but this latest batch is making me take pause. Anyone else?

They said we could use it and not have any tummy troubles with their protein but I still do. This is the best tasting protein powder I’ve tried but it tears my stomach up. I spent an hour on the toilet just today after a few sips of my proffee. Will continue to use and suffer the consequences of my actions, still recommend.

I like this protein powder but I thought it could have had a richer taste since it was named brownie batter. I would still get it again.

Best tasting protein powder! I use it every morning in my coffee and also use it in my Ninja Creami ice cream recipes. Great product!

I have tried so many chocolate proteins, they don't even come close to how good this it. The BEST chocolate protein by far.

Excellent! I mostly use this with my Ninja Creami. Makes the best ice cream ever. I use different flavor extracts for variety like mint, banana, coconut, almond and also add espresso. So good and such a healthy treat at night. Have not gained a pound (5’3”, 114 lbs) and have been doing this for months! So happy with your products!
