[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blooms by play doh-wildflower petite boutique kit. This was such a fun kit to play with. I would say for older kids. A lot comes in the box kit. Comes with the vase to put your flowers in. Roller tools to create different types of flowers. It does have a strong floral scent. Wasn't my favorite smell but overall a fun project.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did this with my 9 year old son and we had the best time. He caught onto how to do it very quickly and his flowers turned out better than mine. He is now begging me to try the kit that you push the playdoh out and it creates flowers by Bloom as well. This is definitely a fun art and craft or even something someone who loves to create and make flowers can do. It’s fairly relaxing and you can be creative with what you make! The instructions are also very detailed so it is hard to mess up which is always great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great way to engage pre-teens and even adults in the play-doh world. The kit was package super cute and came with everything you needed. Instructions were detailed, came with inspiration and had links to videos for help as well. The consistency of the doh is different but it rolls out well and can easily mold into the flowers. However, we did not enjoy making the finger looking ones. Those were hard to cut out so we could use them. They don’t look great. It took a couple days for our flowers to dry and the finishing spray didn’t work well. The nozzle did not want to spray the liquid out instead it came out in a stream and wasn’t easy to use. Once it dried it left the flowers glossy looking. The finished product was cute and we had enough don left to be creative all over again!

The play-doh was fun to use and the directions were easy to follow. I appreciate how many different colors of play-doh are available. They came in plastics, so we can use more colors in the future. Thank you for the simple materials that require almost no maintenance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to finish this beautiful bouquet, but you have to have alot of patience so it can come out beautiful as pictured. Follow the directions as the manual says and is super easy to use. I made a few errors but the good thing is you can keep trying. I really recommend it,use your imaginations with the colors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so cute! And so fun! When I first got the box, I opened it out of curiosity, and then put it in my closet for later. It made my whole closet smell sooo bad! So I was worried that the playdough must stink. But then when I finally got around to the project, I was super surprised because the playdough actually smells really nice! I don’t know for sure what stunk so bad because the flowers smell perfumey. My best guess is that it’s the spray for sealing the playdough so the flowers last? If anything though, that stuff just smelled like school glue. Which, after using it, I think that’s actually all that is. In the directions the spray looks like it’s supposed to mist. But it didn’t. It streamed out and is kind of globby on my flowers. It’s drying clear but still is globby. You can only tell when you look up close though. Anyways, if you find that the package smells bad, seal the spray bottle in a ziplock and that will help a lot! Overall, we had so much fun! I did it together with my 4 year old. It’s definitely not something she can do, but she had fun rolling the dough and “helping” me. I’m normally not interested in playing with her playdough with her so this made for a fun bonding activity for both of us! Also, the playdough is much smoother than basic kid playdough. You can tell that it is of a much higher quality! The directions are pretty great and helpful. However, I am horrible at following directions, so if you look at my pictures, you can probably tell they aren’t nearly as great as what’s in the picture. When I make the rest of the flowers, I plan on following directions better!

The set is beautifully packaged and includes a small vase, an abundance of stems and tips, a wheel with two designs, and tubes of pastel colored Play-Doh. The set also includes setting spray that is applied after the flowers set for 1.5 hours. I did this activity with my 8 year old and she loved it! She had to do a few practice rounds using the wheel to cut out the petals, but eventually figured it out. The flowers are easy to make by simply rolling the Play-Doh around the tip and attaching it to the stem. The finished project is so pretty! I think this would be a fun activity for a teen and I enjoyed it as an adult. I recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Play-Doh has completely reimagined itself with this product aesthetically. It looks nothing like the Play-Doh sets I’m used to seeing in stores. The styling is charmingly retro and surprisingly sophisticated, but that’s where the unfamiliarity ends inside is the same wonderful tactile Play-Doh we know and love now presented as a craft that appeals to a broader age range. This feels like a fantastic next step for children who have become slightly too old to spend an afternoon making spaghetti and snakes, but still enjoy modeling and creating it elevates Play-Doh from a traditional children’s activity into a sophisticated hobby that preteens teenagers and plenty of adults could genuinely enjoy. I’m loving this direction for the brand These days it is also important to me to comment unpackaging and Play-Doh did a fantastic job here too from an ecological perspective. There is some plastic packaging, but it has been kept to a minimum primarily a bit of film needed to preserve the moisture of the Play-Doh itself The vase is plastic, but realistically it can’t be glass of children are gonna play with it. The sticks used for the flower stems are also plastic, although that’s consistent with real artificial flowers and neither the vase nor the stems are intended to be single use items in this case the manufacturer gets a pass from me the practical choices make sense and the reusable parts help justify the materials. The instructions are brilliant they are not terribly engaging in their own right but they are exceptionally clear, helpful, and beautifully. Illustrated they’re easy enough for my child to follow while offering enough useful guidance to make them genuinely worth reading that may sound like a small compliment but poorly designed instructions can ruin in otherwise excellent craft kit. These do exactly what they need to do. The Play-Doh material itself is great. I remember it so fondly and the quality is every bit as good as I remember maybe better it feels wonderful in the hand and retains its moisture plot and pliability. Well it’s simply a treat to shape work with and reuse over and over unless you decide to preserve your flowers as a permanent display. It’s actually rather clever that Play-Doh gives you the option to override the materials, almost magical reusability, and turn your creations into something lasting that balance between a reusable modeling activity and a decorative finished piece is one of the most interesting things about this kit. Children can dismantle the arrangement and create something new or they can keep a favorite bouquet in tact and display it until the baseball goes through the window and hit it The colors are also excellent floral, attractive and generous and variety and quantity they make it possible to produce an arrangement that feels cheerful and polished without being juvenile. The structured flower project gives older children enough direction to create something recognizable and satisfying while still leaving plenty of room for creativity. Overall, this feels like a Play-Doh growing up alongside the child who already loves it. The retro presentation is charming. The concept is innovative, and the project is creative without being childish best of all the familiar modeling material remains every bit of satisfying as I remember. This is an imaginative bridge between traditional Plato set and more sophisticated craft and invites, older children and their adults back into the wonderfully tactile world of Play-Doh with something fresh attractive, and genuinely display worthy. I hope this is only the beginning of a whole new direction for the brand.

I will say this is more of an advanced level.

My daughter loved the variety of colors that come with it and the different tools to make different shaped flowers. The assembly was easy with the instructions provided and a perfect amount of playdoh to create multiple. She can’t wait to make more flowers to put in her room. The flowers are easy to make (thanks to the instructions) haha! And I love that my kids can use their imaginations to create their own beautiful flower bouquets 💕

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were lots of pieces for this kit with lots of ways to make flowers. My 9 and 11 year old struggled a bit to get them the way they wanted... I had to step in and help and I had a hard time getting the flowers to look like the pictures too. The cutters were a bit tricky. The instructions were really clear though. All in all fun, but a bit challenging to execute.

The finished flowers are super cute, but it was definitely harder to do than we expected. Some of the flowers and details take a little more patience and skill than the packaging makes it seem, so ours definitely didn’t look like the examples. That said, figuring it out was part of the fun and we still had a great time making the bouquet. It’s a cute, creative activity and definitely something I’d recommend- just go into it knowing it make take a little practice to get this picture perfect blooms!
