Amazingly fun toy for toddlers through elementary!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play doh super sizzling kitchen playset is amazing! So awesome, truly. My near 3-year-old was totally stoked and played for over an hour on the first go. It was fairly simple to set up using the instructions, and took less then ten minutes before it was ready to go. It comes with 8 different play doh colors, two housed in a cheese and a tomato, and a bunch of different options for making pasta - spaghetti, penne, tagliatelle, ravioli and possibly more that I've forgotten about. It also comes with molds to make fried eggs, burgers, lettuce and more, and a ton of other play items like a bowl, plate, fork, knife, frying pan, spatula etc. even a cash register if they want to play restaurant! I will say this was a pain to clean as play doh seems to get into every nook and cranny, but it wouldn't dissuade me from buying this again. Also, if you have a kid on the younger side then you will need constant supervision to stop reckless mixing of colors - I tried and failed. Oh well. If you have a fastidious 6 year old daughter who cares about such things, maybe you won't end up with frankencolors like I did! Oh well. Heaps of fun for birthdays, Christmas, rainy days and more. I can see this toy entertaining my kid for years, though woll need new play doh now and then. While it is lightweight, I do wish it came with a storage pouch of some kind. That said, it's good value and quality and we loved it a lot! A real winner for us, and I would happily purchase this one again.
