The glowing grill and makes sizzling sounds that take imaginative play to a new level. Grill marks can be created from the grooves inside the grill lid or char marks with the built in ink pad in the lid. The ink pad can be closed or locked, if you worry about the ink. The playset includes 10 (2 oz) cans of “bbq themed” play-doh colors, a variety of food molds, kitchen utensils including plates, forks, glasses, tongs and a spatula. I would definitely recommend this set.

Although they definitely could have left out the “grill mark” ink. I didn’t attach that, I don’t feel that’s appropriate for my kids age group. It’s pretty sturdy once you get it completely assembled.
Great way to have fun while learning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this Play-Doh Grill set! I’m using it with kids I babysit who range in age from 1-8 years old. They all have a blast creating different “foods” for us to try. This set requires 3 AA batteries which were not included, but if you’re a parent, you likely keep a good stock of batteries around. Assembly was very simple. The grill lights up and makes sizzling sounds when you close the lid. It comes with all kinds of utensils and different food molds. It even has a stamp pad to make grill marks on your burgers! I think this is the coolest part of all. Some parents may not like a little extra cleanup that comes with using the ink pad for the grill marks, but it’s worth it to me because I love anything that nurtures a child’s imagination. If you don’t like the ink, you also have the option of closing that part off. The grill is sturdy and seems pretty durable and I don’t see any safety issues with it. It is priced fairly considering all that comes with it and how unique it is. It comes with 10 cans of colorful play-doh that are perfect for the different variety of foods children would want to make. I would say it is best suited for toddlers and preschoolers. It would make the perfect gift for a young child!

There is an ink pad that makes real grill marks on the food, which my daughter loves but it can be messy. It does have a cover so you don’t have to use it though. I’m not sure how the black ink on the play-doh will affect the color over time, but play-doh is relatively inexpensive so no big deal. Overall, I think it is a great play set that encourages imaginative play.

There are plenty of molds and props to make it like a real bbq. But Play-Doh is Play-Doh, it gets everywhere, so make sure to get the kids to play in a set area.

He has been having alot of fun using this and my 1 year old likes to try and play too. It has so many different tools and things you can do with the playdoh. The light and sounds features on the grill are super cool! Not an issue with the product at all, but it does seem the newness has worn off and my kiddo is not quite as interested in this toy now but I know he will come back to it.

Its so fun they can make all the ingredients out of the play doh and it also comes with a stamp on the lid ao when you close it it stamps the patty and makes it looked cooked such a cool idea. It was veey easy to assemble took me 5 mins to put it together no tools needed every thing snaps in place. Overall very fun activity for the kiddos

The quality is fantastic, with sturdy construction that holds up to enthusiastic play. The realistic design, complete with a working lid, grill grates, utensils, makes it feel just like a real outdoor BBQ grill. There are 10 play-doh with a variety of colors. The food stampers, roller, kitchen play toys like a spatula, plates, forks, cups took the pretend play to another level. In addition to this the grill grate needs 3 AA batteries which lights up and makes a sizzling sound with the push of a button. The cute knobs on both sides just give a realistic feel. We did keep the inkpad with grill marks aside because it messes up tiny little hands and the art they make, and it is kind of difficult to get rid of it, we had to just use lots of soap and water and frequent hand washing. Assembly was a breeze, and the pieces are durable, safe, and well-made. If you’re looking for a fun and interactive toy that encourages hands-on play, I highly recommend this BBQ set. It’s a fantastic addition to any play kitchen or outdoor toy collection!
