I would think the metal of a filing folder would rough up and most likely rip the fabric rather quickly. I use mine for my IKEA Kallax system for clothes, collectibles and general storage items privacy.

Target Customer Service Excelled
The item is as expected. Nice color, nice quality, but I wanted to write this review about Target’s prompt shipment of my missing online pickup order. I ordered 4 bins for pickup and paid online before going to the store. I only received one bag in store initially which I thought had two bins in it connected by one nice cardboard wrapping. A wonderful target customer service desk employee assisted me and went to the shelves to get what was missing based on my previously paid for order. I left a happy camper, got home, unpackaged only to realize I only had 3 bins not 4. The first bag given to me had one bin not 2 but I assumed and didn’t check it. I reported the issue in the target app, and the next day my 1 additional bin showed up at my house. Way to go Target!
