Q: Why is this only for children aged 3 and above? Does it contain small parts that are a swallowing hazard for littler ones?

A: Thanks for your question! Our Squishmallows are tested to all ages (0+), but we have an age grade 3+ and we do not recommend putting a soft plush into the crib for the first year.
