Q: Does this panel have a shiny look or a matte look?
A: I purchased the sand color. It has the look of Dupioni Silk! It has a sheen, this color was not shiny. A very classic, rich appearance.
submitted byShelly - 5 years agoA: It has a nice light sheen to it. Great look for the price
submitted bytjblanco1 - 8 years agoA: It's a little bit shiny. Sort of in the middle between shiny and matte. There are curtains that I've seen that are much, much more shiny, almost glossy. Not these.
submitted byRebecca - 8 years agoA: IT IS VERY SHINY!! Old lady shiny, bad 1970's shiny. I returned mine IMMEDIATELY.

Q: is there a pocket for the rod? or you have to use clips?
A: There isn't a pocket for a rod, but rather a loop so that they are back tab pinch pleat curtains.
submitted byTxMama2018 - 7 years agoA: There is a pocket, you don't need to use clips. That is how I hung mine (with the pocket).
submitted bybunbun2516 - 8 years agoA: There are no pockets, there are grommets.

Q: The details say that each panel is 30" wide. Is this correct? Seems very narrow. The grommet top curtains that are just like theses indicate 50" wide panels.
A: I have these drapery panels in my master bedroom and each panel measures 50 inches wide.
submitted byJB - 8 years agoA: The details are correct. Panels are 30 inches. I actually bought multiple to have enough for my windows.
submitted byHawaii50 - 8 years agoA: The details are correct--these panels are 30 inches wide. This is due to the pinch-pleat construction of the top. Curtains with other top constructions, such as grommet, rod pocket, or simple pleats, will be wider in general (usually between 40-50 inches wide).

Q: If these are pinch pleated at the top, there should be a place for a 3 prong hook at each pleat. Is there a place for a pleat hook on the back side of this pleated top?
A: Yes, there is a place for a 3 prong hook at each pleat.
submitted byfrequent target shopper - 7 years agoA: no there isn't. I thought they were on my curtains given the responses here, but they did not have the pockets.

Q: Can you use the three prong hooks in the back of the pleats of the header, instead if those clips.
A: Hi there! Thank you for your interest in this style. We recommend hanging this style by clip rings, hooks or by its hidden back tabs.

Q: Are these 30" wide at the top (at the pinch pleat) or at the bottom? Thank you!
A: Hi Angela! The measurement is taken at the top (at the pinch pleat) Thanks!

Q: Tell me how you are using the measurements. Is it L X W or vice versa?
A: Hello! You are correct. The measurements listed are L x W. For example, 84" Long and 30" Wide. Hope this helps!

Q: is the gray a dark gray closer to charcoal or a light gray
A: Hi BJ! The Gray is closer to charcoal. The subtle shimmer to the curtain panel can make it look lighter. Hope this helps!

Q: How "opaque" are these drapes? Will I be able to see through them if they are closed in front of a sunny window or will they block the light? Thanks!
A: Hi Josh! The panel is lined so it will prevent most of the sun's brightness from shining in. It will allow just a smidge of light while giving you full privacy. Hope this helps!
