Description
Tulips are the indispensable blooms of the spring garden, as they bring it to life! They are unique in the range of size, shape, and bold color found in almost every color spectrum, that only tulips provide. Tulips are suitable for a wide range of plantings, are excellent in the rock garden, in formal beds, as elegant cut flowers, and for containers. They can be used in nearly any garden design scheme. Flowers are upward facing, with linear to lance-shaped green leaves on the stem. Tulip descriptions can become quite technical, as they are grouped into 15 different divisions, describing the petals, stamens, and leaves in detail. Plant several different varieties of tulips throughout the garden to extend the blooming time.

Can’t wait till spring!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m excited about my Van Zyverden’s popcorn tulips! I really love tulips and this Popcorn variety is going to be a beautiful addition to what I already have! What I really like about them is they are very similar looking to a peony which is one of my favorite plants! These came in a package of 25 and are very healthy looking and the package had very good instructions on how to plant and grow these beautiful tulips. I would recommend if you live in the northern part of the country to make sure you plant them about 8 inches deep because of the frost and also the rabbits love them and some of my bulbs were dug up. I am so excited to have these beautiful tulips and can’t wait till Spring!

The bulbs are very fresh. I like that they have been expected and are free from insects and disease. The Van Zyverden Nursery is a trusted and reliable source. I have planted this species of tulips in the past and enjoy their fragrance and are a peony look a like.

The bulbs came nicely packaged with a beautiful informational / instructional card (which I thought was such a nice touch). The planting instructions are easy to follow and even included planting zone info.
