Description
Tulips are the indispensable blooms of the spring garden, as they bring it to life! They are unique in the range of size, shape, and bold color found in almost every color spectrum, that only tulips provide. Tulips are suitable for a wide range of plantings, are excellent in the rock garden, in formal beds, as elegant cut flowers, and for containers. They can be used in nearly any garden design scheme. Flowers are upward facing, with linear to lance-shaped green leaves on the stem. Tulip descriptions can become quite technical, as they are grouped into 15 different divisions, describing the petals, stamens, and leaves in detail. Plant several different varieties of tulips throughout the garden to extend the blooming time. These tulips are also know as specie tulips. They are fairly short in stature, which makes them ideal as accents or planted in containers. They are mostly wild, yet commercially grown and naturalize extremely well. Little Beauty changes color as it matures. It starts out cherry red on the outside, to a zone of white and slate blue in the center. Each bulb produces several buds. Blooms will open on sunny days but reclose at night. Truly spectacular in color, it is a perfect companion to our blue Muscari.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited about these tulips because they look beautiful and I really wanted to see them on my lawn. I followed instructions and refrigerated them until right before the first frost as instructed and then buried them in the early afternoon again as instructed. We are now 3 days before springtime and I can see my neighbors' tulips starting to sprout. However, the photo I just took of my tulips show what looks like a little nut, but that is actually still the seed. I know that some of them were buried deeper (the instructions suggested 5-6 inches, the visible one was definitely deeper at the time, maybe wind or animals exposed them) and yet I still don't see any sprouting going on. Therefore, either my land isn't appropriate for this type of thing or I just don't have the green thumb to be able to do it myself. If you are like me, I recommend potentially trying these but getting a gardener to help you with the process. I'm really bummed that I won't be able to get these beautiful flowers in my yard. Perhaps I will get lucky still though. I haven't given up hope but I wanted to write a review because it has been 5 months since I've had the tulips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely beautiful flowers! I don’t have a green thumb by no means but the direction we’re presented very easily and the wait game to see how beautiful they are was worth it!
Amazing colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these tulips and am excited to plant them outdoors but since it's colder in my area I had to start them indoors. They have not quite bloomed yet so I'm waiting on that but by the picture I already know they are going to be beautiful. I have orange and yellow tulips in my front yard so in the spring these will stand out so well with the others. Easy to plant and they keep blooming for a while. Definitely worth getting for the vibrant colors and tulips are very easy to care for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these tulips a few weeks ago, but just recently planted bc the directions said to at the beginning of fall. Here in Arkansas it’s hard to tell the seasons apart. The last week has been in the upper 80s but finally at night it’s starting to feel like fall in the 40s. The bulbs came well packaged and looked great!! Once I get some blooms I will update my post but so far I’m very pleased!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I planted these and they are so beautiful! So colorful. Very easy. I do live in the South and I can grow really anything with the humid weather. These stick out and my neighbors love them, too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to my zone/climate, I can't plant these just yet. If they grow to look anything like the picture, they are going to look beautiful in my yard!
