These are cheaply made and will scratch your furniture/mantel!! The bottom edges are very sharp and not covered by the felt. There is no wrapping by Target to protect them, so they were rattling around a huge box with the 2 bottles of shampoo I also ordered to get free shipping. 2 even came out of the poor packaging by the maker. I ordered 4 packages (so 8 total) and every single one is dented and scratched, as you can see in the pics. I glued felt to the bottoms, so I’m going to use them anyway, bc stocking holders are all so overpriced, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

These gold stocking holders are absolutely perfect! I love that the design is sleek and not too deep, so they fit seamlessly on our mantle without sticking out awkwardly like others I’ve tried. Despite their compact size, they’re impressively heavy and sturdy, which gives me peace of mind knowing they can hold fully loaded stockings without slipping or falling. The gold finish adds a beautiful, festive touch to our holiday decor without being too flashy.

Horrible packaging for shipping. There was zero protection. Item received completely mangled torn out of its holding cardboard and zip ties. The plates were scratched and damaged. Also, 3 rivets are visible above the hanger. Highly disappointed. I should have listened to all of the negative reviews describing the exact same problem. I hope target listens to everyone’s feedback and improves quality control with packaging delicate items for shipping. It boggles my mind how nearly every persons items are described as received the same way- broken out of its cardboard and zip ties and floating around the box. Is Target shipping the items damaged and malpackaged to begin with by throwing loose plates into the large boxes? No wonder they were on sale for $5; maybe that is why. 3 seasons ago I ordered this same brand 4 reindeer stocking holders and they arrived very well packaged covered in plastic baggy and protected in pristine condition. What is going on target!?!

You can't blame the post office for this one. The box arrived late and inside the entire package was open and unwrapped. I ordered two sets so I had 4 quite heavy mantle hooks that were scratched all up. I immediately took back to store. From first glance they looked like a nice weight and size but am not keeping anything that arrived in such a sloppy manner. Again this was not from shipping, this was packed this way. Most likely a return that got haphazardly thrown into a shipping box.

I had these shipped twice and both times the package was completely destroyed in the box. The gold was scratched both times unable to fix/buff out. Would not recommend - do not last & hardly made it through shipping !

I bought these in gold. They don't overwhelm your mantle but are still very pretty and classic. They seem to hold well and they definitely do not slide around. Great price, too.

These showed up separated from their packaging and shoved into the shipping box with no bubble wrap or protective padding. Each holder was horribly scratched up. Can’t imagine how much money Target wastes by shipping its products so carelessly, inevitably damaging the products and resulting in customer returns. See photo of how these arrived (I now see in the reviews that others have had the exact same experience).

Seems durable, however packaging was horrible. They all came scratched and out of original packaging. I will be returning it.

Very inexpensive, so I added more felt to the bottom to prevent scratches on surface as they have sharp edges and not enough padding. I kept them as the price was very good

Very poor quality finish on the metal holders. The gold is already covered in scratches and has a weird texture that shows every mark. Brand new out of the packaging they are dented and scratched, bad quality.

I wouldn’t expect them to be delivered in the perfect condition. They look like they will scratch easily. But considering the price for 2, these are great.

They scratch easily, but if you keep them wrapped in storage then it’s fine.

I thought these looked great from the product images, so I tried to order for a pick up at my local target. They ended up out of stock and Target offered to ship them to me instead, which was great. Unfortunately, when I received them they were packaged/shipped really poorly. The stocking holders were already cut out of the package and came very scratched. If you are going to purchase these definitely pick them up in store, do not have them shipped.

They would have been beautiful but when they arrived everything was out of the packaging and all the holders were scraped.

Tell me why Target thought it was okay to put very heavy stocking holders into a box with no bubble wrap or anything? Not only have they flung out of their original carrying box but they've gotten all scratched up inside AND scratched up my bottle they also ingeniously didn't wrap. This is all being returned, they won't be able to sell it to anyone else, and I will use Amazon who at least has some common sense and has the decency to wrap things.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Non-intrusive, simple, classy. Nice weight, too. I see others mentioned scratches when being shipped - I purchased in store and that wasn't a problem at all. Yes, I can see where they might be easy to scratch, but once they're up, they won't be touched much. I love them and they're so very affordable.
