These curtains are beautiful and elegant. They are high quality compared to other curtain panels you would buy from other box stores. I didn’t buy them for the blackout quality, although they seem to do a better job than some previous ones I have. They definitely do better than light filtering curtains. My cats do not like the velvet portion which is great. However they do like the backing and have scratched and poked holes in it. It doesn’t go through to the velvet portion. I wish they had these in 96”.

I am so happy with this purchase! The color is beautiful, the curtains are well-made, and contrary to some of the reviews, they were all the exact same length. They do a great job blocking out light. I would absolutely purchase these again! Unfortunately I can't get it to take an accurate photo of the darkness as the camera keeps automatically correcting the lighting. They are so effective! At night, I can't even see my hand in front of my face, even with a street light directly outside my windows.

Hit or miss on quality
Pros: Very attractive and soft, complete blackout and fairly heavy. If you have the patience to search for the good curtains among the flawed ones, you’ll be happy with your purchase! Cons: A little expensive individually, buy in packs of 2 to save money. Beware, the quality assurance on these is iffy. Some curtains were either badly measured or badly hemmed because they had one side that was noticeably shorter than the other. Also, there must have been a change in manufacturing at some point because some curtains were slightly less soft and had a slightly different green-gray undertone compared to the rest. Barely noticeable, but I could tell. My husband couldn’t tell and thinks I’m insane. I returned and repurchased until I was able to come up with 4 matching, evenly hemmed curtains.

Soft, thick, hang well
These curtains are definitely blackout material, but they are still soft and hang well right out of the box. The velvet is thick but moves easily along the curtain rod and is not stiff. I really wanted to keep these but the green color was a few shades darker than I wanted. Definitely recommend, but I’ll be choosing a different color.
