Smells Terrible
This bath mat has a horrible smell. At first I thought it was a strong weed smell, like the delivery person had hot-boxed my package, but after sniffing some on the shelf the next time I was in the store, it's just the item itself. A heavy plastic/chemical smell. I've tried airing it out, laying it in the sun, soaking it in hot water, washing it with soap... Nothing is working. Had I know the smell was here to stay, I would have immediately returned it.

Slippery and horrible smell
The mat was slippery and had a terrible rubber/plastic smell that wouldn't go away. My dog kept going in the bathroom snd barking at the tub, so the smell bothered her. I threw the mat away and my dog stopped going into the bathroom.

Just what I wanted!
I am very pleased with this bath mat, and am going to order two more for my guest baths! The 35 inch length is perfect for a tub-shower as it's longer than most other mats. I disagree with the other review about the smell: my mat had the normal rubber mat odor at the beginning, but after a couple of showers there's no smell at all! It also seems to be resisting any mold or mildew, as advertised, which is great!

Would NOT recommend. The bath mat smelled terrible, almost like skunk. We washed it twice and aired it outside for three days with no change! Target was very helpful with returning the product thankfully!
