Q: I bought them; can't open the rings. Do they open from side to side? or do you pull apart each end? the previous two replies are useless! They didn't answer the question.

  • A: Hello Screen Name - We appreciate your interest in the Plastic Shower Rings Clear. To answer your question, find the split in the ring and face the split towards you. There is a ball joint that comes up and sits inside a socket end. Pull the ball joint out and while you push the socket joint in. They can be tough and may need some exertion to pull apart. Once around the rod. Push the ball joint into the socket joint until you hear a snap. This will take some force. We hope you find this helpful. - Ananya

    When I got back home and opened the Target bag, the pack of shower curtain rings was already open. Someone has already taken out three from the pack of twelve. And it was obviously open, not like the team at Target could have missed that. Disappointed that I now have to make another trip cross town to fix this error:-(
