Does not stay up or tight
This rod is difficult to install because it never quite seems to lock with proper tension. It keeps loosening and falling over and over. I’m worried it’s going to hit my or my little one’s head. Hopefully I can return it but the Room Essentials rod only comes with a plastic wrapper for packaging rather than a box.

Sleek and sturdy black shower rod
I’ve been wanting to get a new shower rod for one of my bathrooms and this one is a perfect match. I love the boldness of the black color, and it was very easy to install which is always appreciated. It feels secure braced against the walls. This shower is a large stall size so I didn’t need to extend the curtain rod too far, though it would easily fit a standard size shower as well. Simple, neutral and easy-to-use tension rod
It’s a functional simple tension rod! We liked how it was very easy to install it and thread the rings of the shower curtain on it. It was done and up and ready within minutes (probably 5 minutes or so). I like that the length is adjustable to our needs and that the color is a nice, neutral black that goes with anything and everything. The price is also fairly reasonable and typical to others like it. I received an incentive to write this review.

Shower rod target in matte
This shower tension rod is rust, free and extends from 43 to 72 inches in length. It’s black and had super easy assembly. It’s not the glossy finish, but it is a matte finish which personally I like better. For my daughter’s bathroom, which is gray and black. It worked out perfectly. The tension to the wall is awesome and just to replace one for looks purposes is great for the cost. I received an incentive to write this review.

Beautiful, sturdy, and classy shower curtain rod
This room essentials shower tension rod is a great edition to the estethic I was wanting in my bathroom. The matte black finish is gorgeous, and matches my other fixtures perfectly. The subtle details on the end are very classy. It was very easy to put up, and feels very sturdy even with my shower curtain hung on the rod. The size is peffect for a standard size shower, and for the price of this shower curtain rod, you absolutely can’t beat it. I received an incentive to write this review.

This shower rod looks so much better than our cheap builder grade rods that were installed in our new home. All of our fixtures in our bathrooms were black so I’ve been wanting to change them out for a while. The quality for the cost of this rod is phenomenal! I will be buying another one for our other bathroom. It is super easy to adjust and fits firmly between the two ends of the bathroom. I received an incentive to write this review.
