First, color - the gray perfectly (*perfectly*) matches the gray utility cart. I had hoped for this and was very happy :) As you can see in my pics, they fit nicely with other sizes too. But most exciting for me: the medium trays fit GREAT in the half narrow y-weave bins! So you can organize little things along with bigger things in the same "category" lol
