Does not work as frame only

I got this bed to go with a new adjustable foundation and mattress that I bought. Unfortunately the only way to set the bed up is with a huge pole that goes through the middle of the frame.

Sturdy bedframe,

The bed frame is beautiful, but there are a few issues with it. None of the pieces were labeled so I had to figure out what pieces were what just by comparing them to the instructions which at some points was difficult.

Arrived damaged

I cannot recommend this bed. It arrived damaged, with the fabric on the headboard poorly secured. There are noticeable long creases that are tearing horizontally across the headboard. Additionally, the Velcro meant to secure the rails was improperly attached, causing the rails to not lay flat.
