A: Put the bag on a bed, chair, or similar surface and sit on it. Seal it while sitting on it. For larger bags, close about 75% of the way then slide on it to compress all parts, then finish sealing

The heat seal at the top that laminates the ziploc seal to the side panel, delaminated while on a trip. The two bags this happened to became completely unusable since there was no way to seal it anymore with a big gapping hole at the top.

Awesome Compression Bags! I bought this variety pack as well as the Large, Extra Large, and Jumbo bags. I finally have room in my guest room closet. Where there was once the constant threat of a pillow avalanche or semi-musty smelling blankets from months of storage, all of my guest room bedding is now tidy and sealed fresh. The bags are sturdy and easy to use. I was very happy that there is a "Fill to this line" guidance written on the bag. Bags have been in use for about a month now and no leaking or funky plastic smells.

Not happy with these bags. I have used several type including the original Space Bags. These did not perform well.
The 5pc Compression Bag Set - Open Story™ is going to save me a ton of time and space when I am packing for my next getaway. There are multiple sizes of bags that I can use for my various items to keep them organized.
These storage bags are useful for sweaters and smaller items. Would not fit blankets or other bulky items. You can squeeze the air out without having to use the vacuum, if needed. I would recommend for storing seasonal wardrobe items.

The best storage bags on the market
The BEST and only storage bags you should buy. I was able to pack 2 weeks of wardrobe into 1 suitcase for the plane. You do not need a vacuum to seal! Love these bags, will only buy these from now on.
Easy to zip and fill, takes a bit to press out the air
This compression bag set has a good mix of sizes for different needs. The 2 large, 2 medium and 1 small are a good range and fit most needs. It is easy to load each bag and seal it with the slider. The pushing out of the air takes a bit of effort, but does work very well. I like that they are transparent to be able to easily see what is inside each one. If this was easier to get the air out, it would easily be a 5.

These are okay. I'd say it really is hard to find a good storage bag these days that actually stays sealed. Initially these stayed sealed but let out a little air not keeping it tight. They are better than the last brand I bought and I actually really like the different sizes since we mainly use them for our girl's clothes.
I used these to store some winter clothes. Fluffy, thick sweaters and such. I used one of the medium sized bags. I like that it includes different sizes. It didn’t compress as much as I thought it would. However it was easy to use, just squeeze out the air and seal. I would like if it had somewhere to label the contents of the package. I may try it for my next trip to see how it helps save space in my suitcase.

“I received these products for free from the Hey, Bullseye™ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.” You get 5 bags in this set, 2 LG, 2 MED, 1 SM. The bags are heavy vinyl with a zip closure. The zip slide does pop off if not careful, but I was able to get it back on and the bag did work. I tested with a 50X60 in fleece blanket in the medium bag and it did reduce considerably in thickness. The Zip opening does create a smaller area that made it somewhat a challenge to stuff the blanket in. You zip the closure about half way and then roll the air out of the bag and holding in place finish closing. Priced at $19.99 I could see value in using this while packing for vacation or storing away summer clothes. Not sure it would handle heavy sweaters or thick full-sized bed blankets.

These are not great, but they are also not terrible either. They do seem to give a little bit more space than you woud have if you didn't use them, but it's nothing to write home about. I feel like they don't do a great job if you use them with a lot of clothes. They probably work best when they only have a few clothing items inside of them. The whole "rolling" aspect of these is difficult and I don't think it's hugely effective. You would probably save more space just using packing cubes.
These do not use a vacuum to seal. You roll it/ use your body to get the air out & seal it as you do. These are a great option if you don’t have a vacuum or if you’re traveling. They definitely don’t get as flat as the vacuum seal ones but still a good option.
These compression bags make packing for a trip extremely easy! They are easy to use without the use of a vacuum and the 5 piece set is perfect for all your needs. I love all the different sizes for all my packing needs.
