Hefty Shrink-Pak Bag Mix 1M/4L/3XL and Hand Pump Clear

Total waste of time and money. No matter what the air comes back in. Checked the seal. Use a vacuum. I don’t over fill. Not even an hour later the bags are filled with air again.

I ordered this because it is scheduled to be delivered today, August 29th and it hasn’t arrived!

The pump is like a bike pump. Not what I was expecting or wanted. Thought it had the USB hand pump.

Strong and sturdy

I bought these and another pak 2 weeks ago and was excited to get organized. Upon filling I started the vacuum process. Everything went great. I went to get my totes to put my compressed bags in only to find that they are no longer compressed. Reviewed instructions, and followed them again, with same results. What a waste of money and time.

I bought this a couple months ago thinking it would still be sealed, Well it wasn’t ! Thinking the name brand Hefty would be promising… I am very upset one year ago I bought target brand vacuum seal bags and they are very much still sealed!

I bought this yesterday, and used one of the XL bags went back for the medium bag, voila it’s not there. Too late to take it back to the store, wish I had counted them before I used one. The bag was big enough for the comforter, just not the pillow and bed skirt that go with it

I purchased this Shrink Pak set to replace older Space Bags and to organize my linen closet. About one-third of the bags keep re-inflating which makes for frustrating efforts to remove linens from the closet when needed. I have tried rearranging the contents before deflating, re-closing the zippers and jiggling the disc in the deflation port in case it got stuck; none of these attempts worked. Since air keeps getting re-introduced to the items in the faulty bags, there is moisture trapped inside a plastic bag with cloth - not a good recipe for mold and mildew prevention. The bags that DO function properly work well, I just wish that all of the bags worked the way they are supposed to.

I bought these to save room in my closet and for my extra bedding. 1 of the bags would not keep sealed. I contacted customer service, and they promptly mailed me a new bag. So far the rest of the bags are working as advertised.

They all worked as expected, except one extra large.

I bought this variety pak as I was moving and was travelling a very far distance… over 24 hrs by vehicle. Space was at a premium… these bags saved me. Although 2 of the 8 bags lost their seal. I would definitely recommend. Remember, they are reusable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son had SO many bulky items to take to college so decided to try the Hefty Vaccum Storage Bags. They work by stuffing your other into a large zip lock type bag and then using your vacuum to get the air out. After you find your items are reduced about 75%. We found these helped tremendously and we actually had room in our car for more stuff.

I definitely went and bought more for storage around the house. They’re easy to use and I have reused them multiple times so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many years ago, I used some vacuum-seal ziptop bags, and it was a frustrating experience. Hefty has made improvements that I like. I have the multipack with one medium, 4 large, and 3 extra large bags. I would have appreciated having a sizing guideline chart somewhere on the package, and it would be nice to have the size visible on the bag while it is folded up in the packaging. I just took a wild guess and packed a very puffy king-sized comforter into a size large bag. A few bits of advice: remove any jewelry with pointy edges; be mindful of where the zip-slider piece is (mine popped loose and was trapped in the bag); and try to form the contents into a shape that will at least clear the opening of the bag. My comforter required a bit of tugging and pushing, but it did fit with room to spare. Without even dragging out the vacuum cleaner, I was able to manually compress the filled bag and remove quite a lot of air. It now resembles a king-sized pillow! Using a vacuum cleaner will likely render it rather flat. The material seems to be more durable and flexible than the bags I used in the past. Additionally, this bag has color-coded zipper tracks to make it very easy to tell if the bag is properly closed. I love that the bags can be manually compressed, particularly for travel/camping, or, for example, students in a dorm who may not have access to a vacuum cleaner with a wand.

Pretty good bag, looks and feels sturdy to use multiple times, easy vacuum and seal, nice way to keep unused thick items organized and clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved these bags! I was able to get rid of winter clothes that I was storing under my bed. I placed at least 10 size M/L sweaters and hoodies and 10 long sleeve shirts in the XL bag. And I placed it in my garage. I used a L size bag to store a Queen size thick blanket and a kids blanket easily. Just make sure you use your vacuum to suck all the air out. I highly recommend rubia product.
