About the Author

Emma Beswetherick is a children's author whose latest middle grade novel, A Voice Like Mine, is inspired by her own experience of growing up with a stammer. She is the author of the Playdate Adventures series. Alongside writing for children, she has spent more than twenty years working in the book industry, editing and publishing bestselling adult fiction. Emma lives in Twickenham with her husband, their two teenage children and a much-loved dog called Obi.
