This book is fine, but I wish I would have read the reviews first. Like others have said, this is just a counting book. It’s fine for my 3 year old but he loves the traditional “Mouse a Cookie” stories so I was hoping it would have been along the lines of the other seasonal books in this series.

I bought this online as a gift for our grandson. He loves If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. Unfortunately, this is really a counting book and has very little to do with the “mouse”. It’s not even a story but as I said a counting the ornaments on the tree book. Very disappointed.

I definitely should have read the reviews. I ordered three for gifts and was disappointed it was just a counting book. Also, two of the three had pages with a number missing but two of a different number (ex. no page 6 but two page 7s). I will be returning all three.

The book is adorable but the first one they sent me disgusting - looked like it had been run over with a muddy tire - they quickly replaced it but even that one is a little damaged around the edges of the book, not worth exchanging because it’s the way they package it. If you’re going to buy, I’d buy in person so you can pick one that’s not damaged
