Damaged from shipping
Arrived damaged. Front corner gouged right above where the foot would have screwed in and likely to become more of an issue the older it got. And then it was gouged in the center front so it’s going back. The bench itself is lovely, the fawn is a little lighter than I wanted so perhaps I’ll exchange it for the olive and try again. The inside is nice and roomy, putting it together won’t be any issue if it wasn’t damaged. I would recommend the style and buying online with the caveat that it could arrive damaged.

Stains my blankets
I purchased this ottoman to store blankets. The two blankets that were stored on the far ends of the ottoman are now stained with dark black dust of some sort. I imagine it is a result of the hinges rubbing against the inside material of the ottoman over time. Regardless, I now have a weighted blanket and a large white plush blanket with several black marks on each. I am not quite sure how to get the stains out and I’m afraid to keep my other blankets in the ottoman now. Target should fix this for me by replacing my blankets and/or getting me a new storage ottoman that doesn’t stain my blankets.

The bench is very lovely but it was delivered broken. One of the hinges on the back is broken and the bench does not shut properly and when it is closed there is an obvious overlap. The hinge seems ready to snap off if the top is opened a few more times.
