    Leather different than older versions

    I have had many Healthy Back Bags through the years and they are the best. But I sent this one back immediately. Though the quality overall is excellent the feeling of the leather has changed so much. It is now stiff and heavy and nothing like the leather of the older versions that were soft and draped and conformed to the body.

    I have owned many Ameribags over the years.

    I love them and I don't know if I could ever purchase another shoulder bag from anyone else. These are so ergonomic, I don't feel the weight of the bag. I have two old ameribags this size. On the 22 year old one, the inside of the shoulder strap is crumbling but the rest of the bag is in wonderful condition. The 10 year old one has a zipper that splits open... but again it is in great shape otherwise.

    Bronze bag only looks bronze in bright light.

    This is my 5th Ameribag purchase and the only one I am disappointed with. It looks very" bronzey" on line but in person it looks primarily plain brown. Plus the leather is hard and stiff.

    This is my Second AmeriBag

    This is my second Healthy BackBag. I've had a nylon one for YEARS! Have always loved it and always wanted the leather version. I finally treated myself to the small red (Bing) leather one. It's absolutely all I hoped for. It's incredibly well made, comfortable and has all the features of the older bag plus more. The leather is of exceptional quality and such a beautiful color. I am so glad I bought this bag. That's the good news for me. It will probably last forever so I guess that's the bad news for AmeriBag. Thank you for such an incredible product! I just love it!

    My third Ameribag

    This is the third Ameribag that I have purchased and the only purse that I own. This is my second leather purse because I totally wore out my first one. I used it for over 10 years so it was time to purchase a new one because I love the design of the purse. There is one thing that I do not care for in my new Ameribag is the compartment for a tablet which makes the purse more stiff and rigid and adds extra weight.

    Replacement for my old bag

    I hated to get rid of my old Ameribag since I have used it for 25+ years! I don't change purses. I miss my old bag, but it needed to be replaced. The quality of the new one is good, but I'm not a fan of the secret pocket for the tablet. It makes the bag very stiff. I liked the old one better, but I guess all things must change at some point. The old one was getting a hole in the bottom!

    I can't say enough for quality ! It's wore very well & all the pockets still intact. Broke the main zipper & fixed it for free ¤" it holds a lot stuff & fabulous when traveling. You won't be sorry. Sooo many compliments through the yrs new or old I've ALWAYS had countless compliments.

    This bag is not the same

    This bag is not the same quality from previous years. The leather isn't as soft, the space inside the bag is less than before and it's harder to access inside the outside pockets, as they're skimpier on fabric and a much tighter fit.

    I´ve been using this style bag for at least a decade. I love it! It´s so well designed, I have a place for everything. My phone, keys, eyeglasses, everything has its place! So easy to find, and so comfortable to carry. I just bought a new one in the new copper color. Great bag, timeless design. Practical, and beautiful.
