Q: To anyone that has preordered the game + journal bundle, have you received it yet? My order is delayed until the 31st! :(
A: I also preordered on 2/6 with the journal. My order was back ordered and updated showing no journal. With the current state of the world, I decided to just wait this out. My order finally arrived yesterday 4/1 and the journal WAS included.
submitted byDub80 - 5 years agoA: sorry what? animal crossing game consoles are amazing. stop.
submitted byheehee - 4 years agoA: Mine still hasn't came in and it's almost 2 weeks after it was supposed to be here
submitted byWaiting patiently - 5 years agoA: I just got the game delivered today, but it didn't come with the journal. Pretty irritated as it's the only reason I pre-ordered from Target
submitted byOCPenguins - 5 years agoA: I pre-ordered 2 months ago on January 25th and just received the package today (the 31st) and mine didn't come with the journal either. I had spoken to someone through the online help center a week prior to this and they told me it WOULD be included with my order.. apparently not. :( Very disappointed, as this was the only reason I chose to pre-order from Target in the first place.
submitted byFel - 5 years agoA: I also preordered the game when it was advertised with the journal. I contacted support when I saw my order was updated and the journal was no longer listed. Support told me that the game would not arrive with the journal, so I cancelled my order. I also wanted the journal and that was the reason I preordered.
submitted byLoveAC - 5 years agoA: I pre-ordered 01/28/2020, I received my journal and game today. I am not sure if it depends on how early you pre-ordered, but I got mine and not sure who else will.
submitted byTekSone - 5 years agoA: Same here, the game delivered today, but not with the journal, very disappointing. Never going to purchase any pre-order item from Target again. :(
submitted byKirara - 5 years agoA: Same. Just delivered today but didn't come with the journal. Nor worth to preorder and wait for so many days after release
submitted byCQY - 5 years agoA: Did not come with journal. Ordered Jan 27th, 2020.

Q: Picture says "Journal provide upon receipt of game". What does that mean? I am really confused.
A: @ Zortiz Yeah, I ended up going to the store as well and ask a tech guy in electronics. He told me that all pre-orders are done online and that the journal will not be shipped with the actual game. That you have to bring your emailed receipt to your local target the day of release in order to get the journal. Also, said that they are not sure if they will be doing a Thursday night 9pm release of the game and to call the week of release to make sure.
submitted byAlex - 5 years agoA: When you get your order of the game, you get your journal st the same time. I'm just not sure if preorder is available as in store pickup, or only as shipped items.
submitted bymargaret - 5 years agoA: It’s means the journal is provided the same time the game is launched. It will be written on your online receipt. But the journal and game comes together As a bundle. In store pickup is unavailable for preorders. They want to send a certain amount to each stores that they can sell within the store and not have all go to preorders cause if it were and option they would ask you what store do you want it shipped at. Hope this helps !
submitted byChe - 5 years agoA: Just talked to target staff. It’ll be included with your game in the mail. No need to go to the store tomorrow.
submitted byLee - 5 years agoA: I just pre-ordered one and I'm just as confused. Went to a store and was told the pre-ordering can only be done online. While I was preordering it online, it says that the pickup version isn't available currently and it only gave me the option to have the game shipped to my house (I was even charged for the shipping). So I'm assuming they should be mailing a hard copy of the game with the journal. But the picture saying that "journal upon receipt of game. Available while supplies last" is very confusing... T^T
submitted byzortiz - 5 years agoA: I called to complain about not getting my journal with my pre-order. The lady said they ran out and gave me a $20 credit. I was really upset because I did the pre-order in Jan so that my daughter could get the journal. How do you run out of journals when you have a preorder number??? So upsetting Target!!!!
submitted byThe Rojos - 5 years agoA: On their weekly ad, it says that the free item is sent with the game on launch day. I'm assuming that this means that you receive a copy of the journal in the mail along with your game if you preorder, and that the stores will be getting a limited number of journals as well.

Q: Does this come as a digital code? Curious as I want to purchase this for my boyfriend
A: Seems like a physical copy with a cartridge, you can just buy the digital download the day it comes out I'm sure.
submitted byDrea - 5 years agoA: They release on the same day as a digital download and as a physical copy.
submitted byDub80 - 5 years agoA: The detail section says "Software Format: ROM cartridge". I'm not seeing a way to get the digital download.
submitted bySeiras - 5 years agoA: Unfortunately you can't buy the Digital version WITH the Journal Bundle, but on the day of release, Target will sell just the Digital Version
submitted byDerekBread - 5 years agoA: I don't think it releases until March 20th, 2020as a game cartridge, so might be a little bit before it is a download acode .

Q: What is the earliest time I would be able to pick this up in store on the 3/20 release date if I preorder? Would it be waiting @ customer service when the store opens @ 7AM?
A: You should be able to pick it up once the store opens. I don't remember if you would go to customer service or electronics though but I think customer service since that's where you usually pick up online orders.
submitted byFB - 5 years agoA: Just go into the store once it opens, it will most likely be there if they have any.
submitted byMaria Saaidi - 5 years agoA: You might as well not preorder it and just go buy it in store when the store opens. It is very unlikely that any store will run out of copies of a game so you don't really need to preorder.

Q: How can there be a review when the game is not going to be released until March 2020?
A: Likely because those who reviewed it ahead of time are basing it off the 4 previous animal crossing games, as this game is likely to be as long lasting and as, if not more, fun than the previous editions.
