A:Â Hi Josh, 8 players can play simultaneously on the same screen with one copy of the game, or up to 4 players online simultaneously with individual copies of the game. Controller options include 1 single Joycon (turned sideways), 2 Joycons (combined with a grip), Switch Pro Controller, wired GameCube controllers (with adapter), or a variety of wireless third-party bluetooth controllers.
A:Â The known controllers that work with this are as follows: 2 Joycon Controllers, Gamecube Controllers w/ the USB controller adapter, and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. The easiest format/most used one is the Gamecube Controllers with the adapter.
A:Â 4 controllers, most likely. I don't know if 8-player smash will be back when this comes out. But from what I've been researching, Gamecube controllers are said to be compatible, Joycons will likely need to be used in the grip that came with the Switch, and pro controllers are self explanatory. Don't hold me to that though, since we still need more information, hopefully next month.
A:Â Hi, Josh! Regarding your question about the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Nintendo Switch: This game can be played by 1-8 players simultaneously. Each player will need their own controller. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883, every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
A:Â Two switch consoles, four controllers per console. Controller type is subjective.
A: Yes, this game comes with a free character if you pre order. If you pre-order the physical copy, you have to register your copy on the Nintendo website. Heres is a quote from the website: "Purchase and register your game with My Nintendo by Jan. 31 and Piranha Plant will join the battle when it’s available." So as long as you buy the game new, and register your copy by Jan 31, you'll get the free character. You don't have to pre-order it, but I would pre-order it just to be safe.
A: Too bad it can’t be preordered now! Smh
A: Also keep in mind if you purchase digitally you will need at least 16GB of memory available and since the Switch is 32GB I’d highly recommend purchasing physical and I would also recommend purchasing a Micro SD card. I actually have a 128GB and it’s been working great!
A:Â Hi, chewbecka! Regarding your question about the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Nintendo Switch: You would only purchase one or the other. The physical copy would have the game disc shipped to you in retail packaging, and the digital e-mail delivery version would have a unique code emailed to your Target.com associated email address within 4-hours of purchase. The unique code is redeemed directly on the Switch's eStore, allowing the gift to be played a lot sooner. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact MyTGTtech at 877-698-4883, every day, between 7am-11pm CST.
A:Â Hello, I would like to add on to this answer with my own knowledge. The Nintendo Switch does not use discs on games, but uses cartridges. So the physical copy of the game would be a cartridge, not a disc. I just wanted to clear that up so no one is confused if they pre-order it, get it, and find that there is no disc in it, but a cartridge.
