A: Myself, I would tell him that you are going to place 1-2 AirTags in his car so that you can know where he is if he’s missing or even forgets where he is! Get his consent in writing. In some states it is illegal to track someone without their consent. Install an the AirTag in a protective magnetic case to stick on a metal component under his vehicle, and in case it gets knocked out by a sharp jolt, a second one tucked into a backseat so that it’s out of the way, protected, and soon forgotten.
