The Cedar Deluxe drive-in post is crafted from beautiful, natural cut, aromatic cedar. It comes pre-notched for easy assembly, and includes a drive-in anchor, so no digging or concreting is required. The cedar wood weathers naturally to create a unique and rustic appearance. The Cedar Deluxe can be customized to your liking by painting or decorating it however you see fit. Includes mounting hardware. Concrete is recommended in loose soil.

Q: can the wood be painted

A: Thank you for your recent inquiry. We do not recommend you paint or stain the cedar post. It is okay to apply Thompson water sealant it helps preserved the red look.

Q: It states mounting hardware included. Does this mean the mounting bracket for the mailbox?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The post looked beautiful when arrived but the post was pretty rough and had to be sanded to make it smooth. Also, broke when we used hammer to install it!

Our home is cedar (but natural, not stained) so I was excited to get this! It’s going to make and look so beautiful when I get to put it up. I can’t wait!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t have been offered this at a better time! We live in a rural area with mostly dirt so it was important that this was as sturdy as possible. We added a little bit of paint and another stabilizer just in case.

Very easy to put together but the wood is a strange purplish red. It took a lot of staining techniques to negate that color.

the post is good quality cedar however the expected way to secure the post to the ground is not the best. we will need to buy additional stakes to help secure the post to the ground so it does not wobble.
