Description

Book Synopsis

Honey Baxter doesn't break rules, she enforces them. As an auditor for the Bureau of Magical Compliance, she specializes in wishing wells. Her audits are thorough, her judgments final, and her detachment absolute.

Her latest assignment lands her on the orchard of Ethan Hale, a skeptical single father who has no time for magic, or the cheerful meddling of his three children.

When Honey discovers that the kids used the family's long-forgotten wishing well to keep the farm afloat, she knows her duty: revoke the unauthorized wishes, file her report, and walk away.

But something about Ethan and his family tugs at her tightly guarded heart and Honey finds her once-clear rules beginning to blur.

With her boss pressuring her to close the case, and the orchard hanging in the balance, Honey faces a choice: uphold the rules and risk destroying the fragile happiness this family has found-or break them, jeopardizing the career she's spent her life building.

And in the midst of it all, she finds herself considering the one thing she swore she never would: making a wish of her own.

About Brim's Hollow

Welcome to Brim's Hollow, a small town where gossip is the only thing more pervasive than magic, everyone cheats in the bakeoff, and wishes sometimes come true in unexpected ways.

From the tea slinging witch at The Kettle to the bell that chimes when anyone falls in love, every corner hums with secrets. Here, the extraordinary is just part of the scenery and everyone's got a story worth telling.

🪄a cozy, magical, paranormal romance

a cozy, magical, paranormal romance in a small town Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 4.75 stars. Story Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 4.75 stars. Performance Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 stars. 📄Pages: 300 📚Format: Gifted ALC / 8h 9m 🌶️ Spice Level: none 📖 Book 1 of A Brim's Hollow Romance series 🗓️ Pub Day: September 8, 2026 📲 Available on Kindle Unlimited! Thank you so much Danika Brown and Simon Maverick for the beautiful gifted ALC. This is my honest, voluntary review. A black cat FMC and opposites attract FMC / MMC are my kryptonite. This story captured my attention immediately and I fell for Honey and Ethan so fast. The depth Danika cultivated and the magical sweet creatures in the magical small town was so beautiful. I didn't want to finish this book and binged it in a few hours. Danika, I'm a new fast fan, and I love your way of weaving a beautiful story that I could picture myself in - this was the PERFECT cozy beginning of fall read / listen! I need book 2! The duet style narration and narrators, Rebecca Avery and Will Collyer, performed so well that I was able to put myself in to the story immediately. The banter, the chemistry, and the care between the MCs was so beautiful and touching. Ethan's girls were also such cuties. I loved the goat creature feature as well.
