Fresh Asparagus - 16oz

I usually do most of my grocery shopping at the Target on Main St. in Houston because it’s close to my home and convenient. Unfortunately, I’ve had a very disappointing experience with the produce section—specifically the asparagus. I’ve purchased asparagus there multiple times, and every single time it has been rotten once opened. Even when the expiration date says it’s still good for a few more days, the asparagus smells terrible, is wet, and looks old as soon as the package is opened. The biggest issue is that it’s almost impossible to tell through the packaging because it looks fine from the outside. This has happened enough times that it’s become frustrating and disappointing. I love shopping at Target, but the quality of the fruits and vegetables has been consistently unreliable. If this continues, I may have to switch my grocery shopping elsewhere, which I would really hate to do.

The asparagus that you picker gave me was rotten. Want a refund. I suspect you don’t want the rotten produce back

If I could give this no stars I would. This is gross.

My asparagus was mushy and starting to go bad

The asparagus was slimy & rotten. The tips were just mush. Could see it right through the package that it was bad & rather disgusting looking. There was still time on the BB date but this product should not have been sold

It's really good asparagus. There is too much water inside the package. Jesus loves you.

We just picked this up today and it was rotten and leaking.. smelled really bad.

Rotten! Just got home from picking up my drive up order and the asparagus I was given is slimy with a brown liquid inside the bag. Unfortunately I am unable to come to exchange, and there is no expiration date on the package. Gross

Love it. Cooking Instructions in microwave are perfect. Fresh and tasty.

Supposedly pre-trimmed but truly some of the woodiest asparagus I’ve ever had.

Not sure why this was on the shelf. Expired 3 weeks ago. And smells awful once opened. Should have been removed from shelves. Needs better quality control and better labeling. Couldn’t even see the date till we opened product. Disappointed

I made a target order today - 10/13/25 and I received asparagus with the expiration date of 08/30/25. They are mushy and clearly rotten. Disgusting.
